Wonderful series that went into the toilet by turning it into a Friends spinoff.
A bunch of really bright, socially awkward nerds who end up married. I would have been fine with just Leonard and Penny being the Ross and Rachel but they had to go one extra step.

I agree...too plain vanilla in the end...lost its edge...but still a classic series.

The ending was predictable.. the only interesting part for me was when Leonard slapped Sheldon.

I hadn't watched it in years but tuned in to the ending. Very nice. Was a great show in its heyday. Don't think CBS has a ready-made successor as far as long-running comedies go.
