Mom of Smith Hill shooting victim to gunmen ‘Come to me and say sorry’

The mother of Jude Joseph, the 12-year-old boy who was shot by gunmen last Wednesday in Smith Hill, Carenage, is calling on the men who shot her son to come forward and apologise, and even assist her in taking care of the child who is still in critical condition.

Joseph’s mother, Camille, told Newsday the boy, while still critical, is responding more than before and is slowly showing signs of recovering. But she said even if he recovers from the shooting, he may suffer permanent damage.

“A lot of vital organs were damaged,” Camille said. “His urinal tract and his pancreas were seriously damaged. That gunman has to come to me and apologise to me and do something for my son. Even if he gets arrested that won’t do anything for my son. He is lying in a hospital bed fighting for his life now, and if he survives, his life would never be the same.”

your figures are wrong, each paper has a different figure idiot and it was 212 at the end of May officially, you just trying to incorporate the wrong figure in that article Narper posted with your end of May wrong figureso add the difference to June ent..and this time last year it was 248 and the end of June 274..it could be better but as it is please keep documenting the progress thanks..

Why don't you add every murder for June to your last end of month figure and see what you get,it would even be less! That's what you get for being so depraved hoping for the worst..

Murders to date 211.

Plus ?

They very easy to find.

I dare you to list the murders for June and not including the body found after they killed the man last week..

I dare you to list all June murders and add it to your end of May total...like I said you just trying to use favorable bad figures for your agenda,no care for May again so lets's f@ck up June ent...no sir we're no more than a murder a day for June after yesterday and this morning..

List June murders and add them to 211 I am waiting..

20 women murdered in 4 months

NATIONAL Security Minister Stuart Young has reported 20 women were murdered from January to April and five of the incidents were related to domestic violence.

He said this compared to 18 women murdered from January to April in 2018 for which ten were related to domestic violence.

He was responding to a question in the House on Friday from Naparima MP Rodney Charles on what measures were being taken to address gender-based violence given that 23 women were murdered from January to April compared to 17 for the same period last year.

Police statistics report a total of 167 murders for the period January to April.

De ex-con death announcement on the newspaper hours now and this dutty murder count ain't update yet?

Ask him why he prefer leave 12 than to add the new one, maybe it's because he'll be further exposed and have to make the twelve into nine,so what he'll do now is wait for it to reach 12 and then post his best '13th' murder for June, but at this rate he will have to wait till Wednesday Thursday, and then magically the thread will reappear again with 13 +..

Young: V’zuelans not major cause of crime

NATIONAL Security Minister Stuart Young has accused the Opposition of a plot to promote xenophobia towards Venezuelan migrants.

He was responding to an urgent question in the House yesterday from Oropouche West MP Vidia Gayadeen-Gopeesingh on what measures had been implemented to address the increase in robberies involving Venezuelans.

Young replied: "There is a very disturbing occurrence from those members on the other side. There is no doubt in our minds whatsoever (that) what they are promoting is xenophobia."

He said yesterday morning in his meeting with the heads of national security he told them, "There is a specific plot by certain persons...."

Yes ass-tick..

ATTORNEY General Faris Al-Rawi says an increase in crime and murders has been reported due to this country's migration situation.

"It is a fact, having spoken with the Commissioner of Police today (Tuesday) that we have had a serious uptick in certain types of the crime as a result of immigrant issues.

The Commissioner can speak to that for himself. But suffice it to say that the numbers of murders have been noticed to have risen as a result of some our migration issues. I am not talking only about Venezuela, I am talking about other positions."

In Parliament on Monday National Security Minister Stuart Young said Venezuelan migrants were not the major source of crime and accused the Opposition of promoting xenophobia after asking questions about Venezuelans with HIV and malaria and about a reported increase in robberies involving Venezuelans.

That happens when yuh copy and paste like a silly whore..it was your opposition that made the accusations in the first place, the Minister was just doing his brand of opposing their xenophobia and mischievous agenda, clearly he didn't handle it too well and made a fool of himself and you,but you used to that I suppose.. ..

Full-circle is sooooo easy here..pity only Beatdball would see this because nobody cares about this thread.

To me, the JLP of Jamaica, is the only party in the Anglophone Caribbean that is getting it...litter free capital city, getting tough on vagrancy, professional law enforcement - cops & traffic agents; service oriented govt office workers - friendly with a 'can-do' attitude. That's the only way to modernity. Mih seh suh. But, of course, when the more socialist oriented party gets in power...these policies are never sustained. So, of course, the country doesnt gain grounds, but, just regresses back to bland socishitism. For there to be physical security, there has to be a holistic approach to law enforcement - enforce the laws on the books!
