No Choice But To Impeach

JUST IN: The White House has instructed former communications director Hope Hicks and former deputy counsel Annie Donaldson not to turn over documents related to their time in the administration, rebuffing subpoenas from the House Judiciary Committee.

Clear obstruction of justice.

I heard a lot of talk last night and over the last few days that the process has in fact started. They are taking a similar approach to the Nixon impeachment process by starting with some kind of commission after which the articles of impeachment will be drawn up. They are starting with the guy from the Nixon process that was locked up(cant remember his name) but the intent is to provide an overview of the entire process. But these democrats so confusing that you not sure what is what

Trump is between a rock and a hard place, if he cooperates, damaging information will get out and he will be impeached if he does not cooperate.

Sounds like a rock and a pillow. You cannot give out damaging information.

I don't give a rat's ass about the Senate, the House needs to do their job.

Exactly cool If the House puts together a damning case and impeaches and the Republicans in the Senate does not respect nor do their duties and instead shows partisanship, I predict that they will lose the Senate, House and Presidency. It is early days yet, let us see how this unfolds, but by not cooperating with Congressional subpoenas he is not allowing them to conduct their oversight mandate as per the constitution.

Waste of time and taxpayers money after Mueller and his 12 angry Democrats filled their bank accounts at our expense.

We will protest this!

If the House makes a compelling case and show that the President violated the law, Repubs in the Senate will have a hard time justifying their stance on not convicting.

Dude, shut the hell up.

Repubs spent more money and time on Bengazi.

Rubbish. Nothing wrong with that.

Nancy Pelosi is just too cautious, she likes to compare the impeachment consequences to the one the Republicans incurred with Bill Clinton's impeachment, it is a totally different circumstance, the Democrats now run the risk of looking weak on enforcing the political system.

pelon 2019-06-06 13:04:43

opinion not fact

Could be also that it is strategic to NOT proceed with impeachment until the general public calls loudly for an impeachment.
While we would all love to see Trump out of office, it is political suicide to attempt an impeachment and not succeed. If the voting public loudly calls for impeachment, then and only then does it make sense.

I suspect the reason why Pelosi is holding back is because the majority of voters have still not supported the call. More importantly, the obstruction case for impeachment against TRUMP is (calm down all): weak at THIS point in time.

Has nothing to do with her desire to impeach.

Congress can impeach but not send it to the Senate to remove. The proceedings may damage him politically.

Runs 2019-06-06 13:29:06

Wow what does she know?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told several high-ranking colleagues Tuesday night that she wants to see President Trump “in prison” but does not want to impeach him, according to two officials familiar with the conversation. cool

I will be so busy I will have no time to golf.

LIE.

On Saturday, Trump made his 195th visit to a golf course as president. All but two of those visits have been to Trump owned golf courses. According to Trump Golf Count, the president’s trips to his golf courses have cost taxpayers an estimated $100 million. Trump has gone golfing once every 4.8 days during his presidency. cool

With all due Respect , it aint that it
is weak , the fact is that the General
Public , in the age of TV , the Internet etc , many Americans are not Great fans of Reading Newspapers , & Books.

Their main source of information is
TV , this is precisely why having Hearings with Meuller and other Key
Persons attending is ultra important.

A woman in a Forum that was on TV ,
stated that she had not read the
Meuller Report , which consists of
400 Pages . My belief is that most
Americans ,like that woman have not
took the time and effort to Read the
Report .

This is precisely why itis important
that the House of Representatives start its Hearings , starting off with John Dean , et al .

Hopefully Meuller and others will
Testify , and thereby inform the General Public about the Findings of
the Meuller Report .

I firmly believe that once there are
Public Hearings , the mindset of most Americans will change .
