First I would tell Simmons to watch his mouth, lest he ends up somewhere in Helmand

Simmons and Gibson: Two coaches on the edge
The fact is Phil is not on the edge- he had submitted his resignation, as per his contract following the end of the W.C, moreover, his contract does not require him to work in Afghanistan.
The controversy is not Phil's doing- it is their own people who are responsible.

That's irrelevant....he is directly involved in it now
Immediately I remember when Mugabe deported him....
Simmons appears to be a hot head who can't control his mouth
Afghan board must ask Simmons to travel to Afghanistan for an exit interview..

Exactly my point, you cannot rationalize the Afghan culture- look I know and studied it- it will drive you nuts, likewise Bob in Zimbabwe was also irrational during those days.
So in both these situations, Phil has and had to deal with irrational protagonists.
I guess you can say Phil will fight back when unfairly attacked and I see this as a great trait.
I hope they keep both of them away from WI cricket.. We got enough problems already don't need more drama from Simmons and Gibson

Well I would have Phil as HC and Otis as BC.
