Kingston JA experiences hottest day ever
In reply to Chrissy
Wow...Wife complained alot about the hot temp in Grenada too.
70's to low 80's in the Ozarks...we had one really humid day 2 weeks ago and 89 on friday last week...
In reply to Chrissy
What was the humidity like?
Some of the friends took a cruise last year and stopped in JA...we were just talking about it the other day...the friends down there took them on a tour and a meal...she could not stop talking about how hot it was. I thought she was overeacting...but 102.
Unheard of...if this is along with 70%+ humidity? Ouch.
In reply to Chrissy
Really?
102 is the highest ever?
In reply to black
Are you kidding? I have never seen it go past 91 or 92 growing up in DA.
So if we are now getting 10° higher in an area where the temp barely change 10 degrees over nite to day, that does not bode well.
In reply to Chrissy
Will be even hotter in years to come sis
In reply to black
102 is the highest ever?
I read/heard it that Jamaica's record high temperature was 96°F.
A rise to 102 would be that drastic a change.
In reply to black
It is a rare event for JA to reach 100
In reply to Drapsey
That is exactly what we're talking about a three or four degree increase is 'massive'.
Saharan dust or whatever blanketing large sections of the region. The result is higher temperatures and significantly reduced rainfall.
In reply to nitro
Is that your underhanded way of saying that it's a result of the much discussed topic(s) of "Climate Change and Global Warming"?
In reply to Drapsey
Just saying what could be impacting the weather.
In reply to Drapsey
I drove over to Port Royal on Monday - the Sahara dust presence was clear - hot and hazy.
In reply to Chrissy
I hope this is not a precursor for a major hurricane this season in the region. Sea must be hotting up rapidly.
" Laad Gaad Kingston hot"!
In reply to Chrissy
think the heat has anything to do with them getting ready for Mass Eddie down yonder?
In reply to camos
That might just be so ... cause peeps like him cant go nuh weh else that I can think of!!
In reply to camos
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
In reply to np
You mean even after the month-long sanctification and canonisation?
//
In reply to Ewart
that man could never and can never be sanctfied nor canonized based on his total history ... UNLESS it is a different Maaas Eddie. However, I'm sure peeps like nitro would find nuff excuses for such canonization. There have been occasions where he has done a few effective things on the socio-cultural aspects that can be counted as useful, but THOSE ARE OVER_SHADOWED by the many disgraceful stuff.
Hence I'd go for him getting a good cat-o-nining though!!
102 °F recorded, but with the humidity it must have felt even hotter.
In Miami today it is 92 °F but it feels like 103.
In reply to Chrissy
So Prof you believe in Hell but not Heaven?
In reply to nitro

In reply to Chrissy
