For Putin: Liberalism is Dead

Authoritarianism and neo-Facism must reign supreme.

Why should anyone be surprised by Putin’s conclusion, especially in collusion with Trump and his trumpeting of the similar ideas to a swath of gullible Kool-Aid drunks?

The ideological differences dividing Western Europe from Russia and the United States have exploded into the open at a gathering of world leaders in Japan, where the European Council president, Donald Tusk, has attacked President Putin for claiming that liberalism is over.

Mr Tusk, who is representing the European Union at the Group of 20 summit in the city of Osaka, was responding to remarks by Mr Putin published this morning that “liberalism is dead”.

“Whoever claims liberal democracy is obsolete also claims freedoms are obsolete, the rule of law is obsolete, and that human rights are obsolete,” Mr Tusk told a press conference.

Donald Tusk should realize pretty fast and stop pussyfooting with Donald Trump. The Liar-in-Chief doesn’t care about Liberal Democracy. Trump cares only about himself and how he can use his position to advance his and his family’s interest. For that reason he would attempt to collude with any authoritarian government to pursue those interests and to hell with Liberal Democracy and things like civil rights, human rights or immigrant right.

If only he could convince his Kool-Aid drunk to follow his inclinations and support his deep desire to rule like a tyrant, put immigrants in concentration camps, try anything to block Democrats from gaining power and promote White Supremacy, he would be right in his element and on the same wavelength as Putin.

The Kremlin has been accused of supporting far-right, anti-establishment and anti-European Union political parties across Europe, as well as launching a disinformation campaign to help Trump get elected. Putin denied this, and described alleged Russian meddling as "mythical interference." lol

”mythical interference” is just another code word for “fake news” . There must be some mutual understanding between Trump and Putin as to the words they would deliver to their respective audiences.

Such decisions must have come about. when they hold their secret get together with no one around.
