Yeah, yeah but we need him. We cant allow the queers to continue taking over our society.

We need a President to take on China, North Korea and Iran.

We need a President who will fight to reduce illegal immigration and not take in refugees to place a burden on our economy.

Apart from that the dotard sick my stomach.

Because of the lack of posts on this MB about K.Harris I myself have to wonder if she is black.Megan Markle is described as black on this MB though.

She is.

I think a lot of people outside of the USA get confused by the definition of Black as it pertains to people.

In the USA, if you have any trace of African heritage, you are considered Black. This I believe is an honor.

Moreover, Black peoples are diverse and can include people of mixed races including mullatto, dougla, and other combinations. Therefore Tiger Woods, Obama, Meghan,Kamala et all are black

Kamala's mother was a black woman from India. Her father was a man of mixed heritage from Jamaica- he was 25% African, 50 % European and 25% other races. By my estimation, Kamala has about 15% African in her DNA make up.

BTW, I am of the opinion that the USA has the best definition of race classification in the world.

Harris just picked up 6 endorsements from Black Congressional Caucus members..nothing yet for Booker. Is Booker not "black enough"?

Does his " privileged" upbringingdisqualify him?

" A Black woman from India ", I know they exist, but they are under protected status in India because they live on the Islands and they seldomly migrate. From what I read and the pictures I have seen, Kamala Harris's mother is East Indian from either Bangladesh or Sri Lanka who migrated to America. Her father is what Americans consider to be Black, of some Scottish ancestry.

Indians are a black people also, you missed that point. Kamala's mom was from South India.

I have not encountered many people from the Caribbean who are of Indian descent that would declare themselves to be Black, so your statement is uncommon to me, they usually admit to being dark if they are, but definitely not Black, as Black is another term to describe people who have some negroid ancestry.

There is nothing to admit there – if someone is dark then a simple observation will attest to that --- whether they admit would be irrelevant wink wink

But it is irrelevant if the person "declare themselves to be black," A person race in this modern world isn't contingent on whether they declare or not.

dayne 2019-07-02 12:37:30

In reply to Emir

The Race issue in the modern world has become a location issue, someone could be considered to be one Race in one country but a different Race in a other country. In the Caribbean and South America, many people who are classify as white would not be classify as white in North America.

Correct and it is why I maintain the USA, for all its current flaws and past sins, has the best "race classification" in the entire world. Now, I am not claiming it is perfect, it is just the best among all others out there.

The only person who could explain this is Bravos. He has it down pat.

SgtJones can attest to that. smile
