Jamaican Kamala Harris Got Yang

So said Republican Senator Graham

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., is old friends with Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden, but after Thursday’s debate, he was very impressed with the woman who put the former vice president in the hot seat: Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.

On November 12, 2008, Harris announced her candidacy for California Attorney General. Both of California's United States Senators, Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer, as well as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, endorsed her during the Democratic Party primary.

Why would anything he says matter?
Kamala is not Jamaican - she and her sister were born in the US -her dad is Jamaican and her mother is from India.
I have friends who used to babysit her.

She is Jamaican in terms of heritage as well as according to what obtains in international diplomatic relations these days

That said, I am throwing some red meat!

Joe cannot managed Trump, it needs a prosecutor like Harris to take on Trump!

I am surprised that Joe did not call out Harris on her record as AG.

To take on Trump you have to be confrontational and engaged in a bit of gutter politics!

Joe, in my view, is too gentle, meek, and mild!

You are, who your parents are! Are you all listening to what some African Americans are now saying in regards to African & Caribbean immigrants? They look at you as your parents are! You may born in the US, but visit an African American family home or function & let them get to know that your parents are immigrants...their perspective of you immediately changes.

Kamala Harris grew up with her Asian mother, her parent separated when she was a child, so culturally it would be interesting to know which culture has influenced her more apart from American culture.

If you look black, (regardless of racial make-up) you are treated as such.

Well, let's see. She went to a black HBCU and dated Willie Brown. So, that should give you a clearer picture.

Her husband is not black.

Yes he is a native African American. I suspect his DNA may contain at least 40% African with European and Native American Indian.

I never said her husband was black. I said she dated Willie Brown, who is a prominent black man...plus she attended Howard U and is an AKA sister..soo, you can see where her influences lie. All over the place.
cool

She would have had to embrace her black heritage at the time she was growing up. I don't know for sure but she probably didn't meet a lot of Indians during that time.

Didn’t she say she went to India a lot and spent time with her grandparents? Think she lived in Montreal also.

She claims both Jamaican and Indian heritage, albeit more biased towards Jamaican.

And that's just the power and influence of Jamaica.

You are parroting this Republican trope which is clearly designed to divide the African-American community. It failed in 2008 and will fail now.You my friend, have issues of self-hate which is sad.
