USA vs Jamaica

USA 1 up already

Jamaica needs to wake up, the Americans running them all over the place. That goal allowed was too easy and Blake's already had to make a couple of saves.

Lightning advisory now, so they're off the field.

The Fox sports talking heads have barely mentioned JA stuff during the delay. I get jingoism etc but this is so weird

They only play well when I don't watch.Never saw a minute as the game was not on my radar. Good to know they
looked better. But I heard USA won.

was like two different games, the post interruption period was a much better showing by Jamaica, Lowe was greatly needed in the defense.

The US stormed the Jamaica area for the first 12 minutes and the Boyz never knew what hit them. Yes, Lowe's absence from right back left a gaping hole that was very well exploited. But Jamaica started really slow and laid back, as usual, and paid the price.

After the intense weather break we saw the Jamaica we have all been longing tom see. They eventually scored a goal but by then it was too late. USA 3, Jamaica 1.

Mr. Withmore - if the plan for the opening 15 minutes was to soak up the pressure from the USA, then play Topey as the center back with Francis and retain Hector in the defensive midfielder role thus having a midfield of Hector, Williams and Vassell (who had a poor game).

Mr. Withmore - about those substitutions, Brian Brown and Andre Lewis? What do you see in these "players"? How about Orgill (industry and scoring knack) and Magee (creativity)?

Lowe is a center back.

wondered why Orgill did not come on, Nicholson should have started .

At least Bailey looked the real deal. He commanded a lot of attention from the US guys. Still overall, the team didn't appear threatening despite getting majority of the second half possession.

They're going to heap praises on Pulisic and he's definitely talented but those two goals of his were off of the keeper parrying the ball - right place right time (or defender in wrong place).

Blake worked hard last night. Props to him.

In a 4 man defense there are two center backs one on the right one on the left.

On occasions they resorted to a 3 back defense so yes, you would see him out on the right, however, he was principally in the central defense role.
