WC 2019 clearly shows that the WI team lacked experience. So where are the experienced players? The answer is DECLINING quality and exodus to T20 cricket resulted in the absence of experienced players.

Practically all these players have declined or retired and Darren Bravo batting decline clearly shows WHY WI WC 2019 team lacked experience. It must be noted Roach was a member of this 2015 squad and is now the most experienced and leading bowler in the WI 2019 squad. Holder however has shown no improvement in his bowling and his batting has declined considerably avg 24.28.
One thing for certain...Lewis Hope Hetmyer, Pooran Ambris will all be seasoned players next WC 2023 BUT WILL THERE BE AROUND? Another thing certain is the WI fast bowling pool...it is quite large and 2023 IT will be a force
