He started a thread the other day saying Rohit is better than Virat. No one bit.
I'll bite. Rohit can't tie Virat's shoelaces or carry his jockstrap.
He's had a phenomenal world cup. Absolutely brilliant. 5 centuries for him, none for Virat. Now they're showing stats regarding who has scored the most centuries since 2018, 2016, etc etc.
Rohit caught up to Virat in this World Cup, but in the ODI series vs South Africa on more bowling friendly pitches against better bowlers, this is how the two fared:
Kohli - 6 innings, 558 runs, 3 100's, 1 50, 186 average.
Rohit - 6 innings, 170 runs, 1 100, 28.33 average.

Rohit's struggles are not of the bowlers or conditions type..he struggles with boredom..Rohit has far more natural talent (not the West Indian variety) whereas Virat is intense and applies himself more ..

Not sure about that. Rohit has the ability to hit the long ball, that's where he's better than Virat.
He only finds gaps when he's hitting boundaries, Virat finds those gaps as well, but he also does it to find 1's, 2's, and 3's.
Most Rohit innings are the same; he starts very slowly, doesn't rotate the strike, and then deals in boundaries to catch up.
Kohli can regularly score a run-a-ball 50 and only hit one or two boundaries. Rohit will never be able to do that. He isn't as skilled as Virat, nor is he half the athlete.

The immature, robot like young uns only care about spewing all kindda numbers whilst cricket, the once upon a time spectator sport, is way above their heads.
They should write a book, “Cricket for Dummies” and like music, fine wine and other stuff, learn how to appreciate things of beauty rather than compare price tags or runs scored.
Any robot or dummy can collate numbers or let the numbers fight each other and score victories.
If I said I enjoy my girl, why should you throw your girl’s 36-20-36 on me. It doesn’t make me love your girl. or mine less. It means NOTHING to me.
I repeatedly said Rohit was one of my top 5 all time favorite Indian batsman to WATCH. Maybe I might have said Kohli was nothing compared to him to WATCH.
I don’t look for bites yahso but I have a right to get off sometimes and once in a while, like with 5 big ones, to have a screamer! No fakes and not as often as in the back room.
You guys enjoy watching the game and like me, you have a right to like whosoever you see, but Please not by paper and numbers only.

In ODIs Rohit is better, at least in de last year. As an all round batsman, Virat is obviously better.

mate, RS does not have VK's class. when you are doen, VK is the man to finish the job. that said, pujara is abetter test bats that both of them.
