Trinidad and To­ba­go bats­man Dar­ren Bra­vo has been giv­en a West In­dies con­tract for all for­mats of crick­et for the next year.

Crick­et West In­dies made the an­nounce­ment in a re­lease Mon­day, in which it named the play­ers who have been re­tained on con­tracts mere days af­ter the re­gion­al side re­turned from an un­suc­cess­ful cam­paign in the ICC World Cup in Eng­land.

Bra­vo, Shim­ron Het­my­er and Keemo Paul joined Test and One-Day In­ter­na­tion­al cap­tain Ja­son Hold­er, Shai Hope, Alzarri Joseph and Ke­mar Roach among play­ers giv­en all-for­mat con­tracts. Last year, on­ly four play­ers were giv­en con­tracts for all for­mats of the game.

Nicholas Pooran, who en­joyed a strong World Cup cam­paign and was named among a Best XI by AP writ­ers at the tour­na­ment, was hand­ed a white-ball con­tract.

CWI al­so in­creased ex­pand­ed the list of cen­tral­ly-con­tract­ed women’s play­ers for the 2019-20 sea­son Among the women, T&T play­ers Kar­ish­ma Ramharack and Sta­cy-Ann King picked up con­tracts.
