Serena just can’t catch a break.

Casper 2019-07-09 10:43:37

Serena fined $10,000 for damaging Wimbledon practice court with her racket.

It’s a good thing she never said “Wimbledon should be bombed”. She would have been arrested as a black terrorist.

Here are some Twitter comments.

Casper 2019-07-09 14:32:15

Well, throw everything you have at Serena and that might just get her more riled up to win it all.

Was she the only person fined? Cut out the victimology

Did I say that?

But I did say:

It’s a good thing she never said “Wimbledon should be bombed”. She would have been arrested as a black terrorist.

Then maybe she would’ve gotten only a $3,000 fine if not carted off to jail.

You posted 2 clay courts and one hard court....Did you miss this...'for damaging court'.

Can you think of any differences in the examples you produced and the surface she is playing on currently?

FuzzyWuzzy 2019-07-09 16:19:41

In reply to Starzz

Star boy it was not for smashing the racquet. it was for damaging the precious grass court.

Btw how did you know he wasn't fined?

Same rule don't apply for everyone...

I guess in 2018 that wasn't grass & he must of gotten fined 10k right?

Ayenmol 2019-07-09 17:13:05

In reply to Starzz

he bounced his racket off the ground,

Your first link...bouncing your racket of the ground does not damage it... have you ever seen Serena bounce her racket?

Not sure what that second link is about... she was fined for the damage...if a basketball player mangles a chair on the sidelines and damages the court, he can be fined for repair.

FuzzyWuzzy 2019-07-09 17:16:35

In reply to Starzz

Grand slams are not played under ATP auspices. They are separate tournaments.

Ayenmol 2019-07-09 17:19:03

This probably what she did... bounce?

Here's a bounce.

In case you live under a rock.

That has nothing to do with this
..you can't damage the court...in practice,No less.

Just because black folks are profiled on the streets does not mean you can go mow down a traffic sign and expect to be let off.

More ignorant drivel.

I don't even watch men's tennis

True to cc.com form, though, as soon as reason is used to debunk emotion, try discredit the poster with ignorant attack.

Devin 2019-07-09 18:17:47

I wish people would just leave Serena alone. She's been nothing but a great champion in the sport of tennis, and a champion for black people.

Always humble, graceful, and gracious in defeat. Class personified. Genuine and sincere.

I have no doubt that this latest action taken against her is race related.

I responded to this ok

My point was she has been a victim that was all

The links were to show how Novak isn't treated same way not to discuss grass etc.

Geez
lol

She is too high, too juiced up hence her frequent temper tantrums. Poor role model for our girls.

The fine is 10k because of the high grade grass.
