I hope the fans leave the cricketers' houses alone.

What game was it when the 'fans' were setting fire at the actual stadium? I think it may have been Kolkatta?

Google Earth has a lot more smoke covering India today. I hope it's not coming from any burning of houses or fans burning themselves alive.

big grin

I am happy to report that the only incident so far is this:

Cricket fans in Amritsar in India burn a poster of their team after their shock exit from the Cricket World Cup.

Indians on the continent are fast asleep and I hope sleep can drown their sorrows.

What is the favorite cliche in cricket?

Spot On!

You do have a knack e of hitting the spot where it hurts and then twist the knife around.
I shall now withdraw quietly in the background before the fire, or knife, come at me.

I was really trying hard to understand what the fans in the burning of the flag incident were shouting.

At one point I am hearing "zandoli" (vernacular for lizards - Dhoni and Kohli?).

At this point I could not contain my anger at the fans burning the zandolis - Dhoni and Kholi.

It's just not right to reduce Kohli and Dhoni to mere lizards.

But it is far better to burn posters than houses.

Btw, do you understand the Indian twang...I hope I was wrong in what I heard.

I wish Kohli and Dhoni a peaceful existence in India.

Burning and stoning of players and their houses is just not right. I cannot support these actions from cricket crazy fans.

I will go listen now. At least it was organized and orderly like a staged political event.
All I thought I heard was a Guyanese cuss word like “Mama cunny” referring to that sweet female anatomy.

you know ...I thought you were tempting fate with your toes over the line when you started this...only to get to the Office to hear Mason telling me that he was concerned about men jumping out of windows and burning things too....

sigh....
