Laugh And Joke 'Bout India As Much As You Want

but the support they gave their team in this world cup was truly amazing. That's truly love of identity, culture and self worth.

Rohit gave them no hit.

Yep. But top order failure is the main reason.

Love the backlash:
“BCCI should Take Action :

1) Virat Kohli should step down from captaincy.

2) Ravi Shastri should quit coaching.

3) Dhoni should retire.

4) Appoint Dhoni as Coach.

5) Appoint Rohit as Captain”
lol

I was backing india to the last. They truly had a phenomenal world cup. This is the first indian team in CWC that looked truly invincible. They beat themselves today. kinda like WI in 83 and brazil in 82. Instead of making fun of them, we should feel privileged that we saw a truly great team take the field

did u watch australia during the 1999, 2003 and 2017 world cup? they were truly invincible in all three of those world cups

they were far from invincible in 99....SA should have beaten them twice and pakistan did beat them. In fact coming into the WI game, they were on the verge of first round elimination......2003 the general quality of all the teams save india had declined markedly......the trend continued in 2007. Even kim hughes admits that. All the teams were challenging in this tournament, no side was a pushover.....and india made mince out of all of them except england(who they gave a bligh to knockout pakistan). This was a truly great team. Only weakness was Dhoni's diminished finishing ability

India has a great team, no doubt about that, but I am glad that they did not make the finals. finals not at all diminished by having the fightin Kiwis there.

Raggs 2019-07-10 17:51:52

Even when we were Kings of Kngs and Lords of Lords in the cricket world and man and man was coming from the heart of brixton to head towards the Oval in London to support our team it was nothing like this support. Them Indians due praises for sure.

Was it 99 in a semi final 2 runs to win when a runout mixup late in the game that gave OZ the match. Choke.

Match was freaking tied, but somehow SA panicked and gave a sure-fire win away.

Atl_View 2019-07-10 18:12:38

Expect India to demand changes to the structure of the next WC. I am expecting, less teams but more matches. They will ask for best of 3 in all second round matches and the Final too.

depends......richard hadlee said the wi unbeaten run for 15 years was bad for the game which i don't accept at all. In fact i think every successful team now is a direct ideological descendant of that side

Brother that Brazil 1982 team. I still get chills as I think back to that tournament. I was studying in Russia at that time and we were watching the World Cup. Some of us had our girlfriends and one chick said, you guys are not going to be watching soccer again that is so boring. And then the Brazil game started and after about 10 minutes she said this is not soccer this is ballet . True story.
I still consider that 82 team probably the best Brazil team I’ve ever seen in a World Cup.

6. Kohli should marry Shastri to continue the sadomasochist relationship. One is abuser and the other is yes man/woman.

So, wait. The Kiwis had nothing to do with India's loss? India was playing so badly that they would have lost to any team?

It is exactly this arrogance that makes India's loss here so enjoyable for some. That arrogance extends even to Cricinfo and it's commentators, as well as to several Indian TV commentators.

I called Kiwis long time now, and also expressed my unique opinion that England was overrated. Time will tell.

Honestly didn't expect them to go for 1,1,1
Like what's the likelihood of that happening.
But got to give it up to the NZ bowlers they bowled really well.

Norm 2019-07-10 19:36:19

I definitely did not see the Kiwis winning this, but that is why sports can be so interesting. There are those who start to see social "patterns" in the cricket "clouds", who forget that cricket, and most sports, are determined more by chance than any other factor.

Any competent team can win on any day.

When West Indies were King not many persons took cricket seriously. When the world got involved their reign ended swiftly.

I seen how they whipped everybody down under with swing and seam. English conditions vary but can be conducive to that on a given day.

Yep, that wins the title of the most idiotic thing ever said on this MB.

Apparently it was curry goat cricket being played in the 70s and 80s. The other teams showed up just for the fun of it.
