Jofra Archer is...

doosra 2019-07-11 16:09:12

a world cup finalist, and possibly winner

would not have that in his lifetime in the WI

natty_forever 2019-07-11 16:09:59

Shows what a good system can do.

FuzzyWuzzy 2019-07-11 16:11:47

Or a good player in a good team

How he got there? At U19 was on par with his peers, yet went into another system and the sky the limit. Can we show one such from that U19 team?

I sadly agree.

His discipline is precisely what we need more of our bowlers to have.
The talent is not the issue ...it’s always been discipline.

Our former greats- disciplined.

doosra 2019-07-11 16:19:48

one can never discount the effect of the system he is playing in

tho county cricket is not what it used to be

JA is better off there and has developed his craft

left here he might have been just another one of the many we have had over the years

Yep! Akin to LeBron in Miami! wink

Good for the young man. But, I wish he was playing for WI

doosra 2019-07-11 16:22:56

powen001 2019-07-11 16:23:08

His line and length is impeccable
The sudden bouncer
The smooth run up

It’s like he has honed Ambi Walsh and Holding into that frame of his and being very effective.

Narper 2019-07-11 16:29:28

AND alyuh know what....Archer seems very comfortable in this team and he seems to be enjoying his cricket

Narps
the man is making a living

this year alone he will earn over 1m pounds in prizes and contracts

why worry with a lowly wi?

he's doing what's best for him and his family

Will do. But off the top of my head, not Doosra.

Raggs and Larr are the main protagonists.

Cherri
Let me apologize for sharing this here now.
Archer was injured

No one checked for him...didn’t look back

When he got better and the opportunity presented itself , he grabbed it with both hands.
This is how he felt
No one can blame the lad and if he was my son I would have supported him and encouraged him in the England direction too.
