The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Barry, located about 100 miles south-southeast of the mouth
of the Mississippi River.

1. Showers associated with a tropical wave located several hundred
miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands remain disorganized. Some
slight development of the wave is possible during the next day or
two while it moves westward at 15 to 20 mph before environmental
conditions become less favorable over the weekend.

The one in the Atlantic won't develop - conditions are unfavourable but given the amount of water heading for Louisiana, they face a potential catastrophe if those levies fail. in NOLA.
