Python tries to eat zookeeper instead of rabbit
The Emperor Valley Zoo’s albino Burmese python, nicknamed Mustard took a bite out of a zoo keeper today.
A video circulating on social media showed the zoo keeper opening the enclosure and tossing a rabbit near the python.
The snaked turned and lunged for the zookeeper, biting into his abdomen.
The zookeeper reacted by grabbing the snake by its head and pulling it out of the enclosure.
Sources said that the man then fell to the ground while the snake attempted to wrap itself around him.
Other keepers intervened and shortly after, the snake was returned to its enclosure by two others.

Python attacks keeper at T&T zoo
In a release from the Zoological Society, a video shared on social media involving the zoo’s albino python was confirmed as authentic.
The incident took place earlier today while a zookeeper was feeding the python. While the door was still open, the python bit the zookeeper in the mid-section. In keeping with the protocol of always having two zookeepers present during feeding, the release said the second zookeeper intervened, pulling the python away and locking the door.

Vegan activist accuses zoo of ‘abducting animals’
This comes after the circulation of a video showing an albino Burmese python biting one of the zookeepers. She is also urging the public to stop supporting the zoo.
On Thursday, Mustard the python bit zookeeper Walter Bunyon while being fed. Bunyon placed a rabbit in the enclosure but Mustard, instead, bit Bunyon on the torso. A video of the incident was recorded by one of the visitors, which became widely circulated on social media.
In a blog post on her website Trini vegan.com, titled The Reason Why The Emperor Valley Prison Zoo Should Stop Abducting Animals!, Borde expressed her frustration and disappointment with the incident.
She wrote, "This is one of the many reasons why you should not keep any animals in a prison, particularly wild animals. They are meant to be in the wild for a reason."

Zookeeper, snake reunite
It was the reunion that many hoped for.
Zookeeper Walter Bunyan and Albino Burmese Python on Friday reunited after a bite that shocked many on Thursday.
A video posted on social media Thursday afternoon showed Bunyan opening Mustard's enclosure and tossing a rabbit for him to eat.
Mustard then turned and lunged at Bunyan biting the zookeeper in his stomach area.
The Emperor Valley Zoo confirmed the incident saying that Bunyan received immediate assistance from his "buddy" zookeeper.
The "buddy" was present with Bunyan during the feeding in keeping with the zoo's protocol for certain animals.
Mustard's jaw was removed forthwith from Bunyan's clothes and he was treated for minor injuries on his stomach area.
On Friday Bunyan returned to Mustard's enclosure and the duo patched things up.
