Not a good day, Serena misses out and Hamilton misses out on pole by a sixth of a millisecond.

Let's hope tomorrow is a better day.

Not sure that it will be... Federer will have a very tough battle on his hand if the history between him and Joka means anything... Joka desperately wants to overcome Federer with the most titles, he is highly motivated when playing Federer. Expect to see Joka's A++ game tomorrow... I don't know which Federer will show up but I hope a winning one... lol lol

mikesiva 2019-07-14 08:37:56

Today, I won't be watching any of these events.

I will be watching the Netball World Cup.

One of the most exciting sporting Days, WC cricket and Tennis matches were both exciting and historic, I do not know if TV stations would plan so many big events on the same day again,

I think we've had big Olympics-US Open-NFL combos before.

But I'm pretty sure we've never had a global sport's World Cup final conclude at practically the same moment at a Tennis Grand Slam championship decider.

I might be in a minority in Britain.

But back in Jamaica, more people are concerned about the performance of the Sunshine Girls than in any of the three events in your OP.
cool
To each their own.

Well, you live in the UK and I suspect it was only you and a few handful of people watching that minority sport while the vast majority of the population were glued to their sets watching England become WORLD CRICKET CHAMPIONS and Lewis Hamilton win the British Grand Prix for a record 6th time.

Yeah, each to their own sonny.

BTW, I hear the English netball team are into the semis...may I enquire how the JA girls are getting on. Are they also in the semis?? razz
