In a tied game the team that lost fewer wickets should be declared the winner. It used to be so at one point in time.

Change the rule

A lot of sore LOSERS pon this place

Bossman that has nothing to do with sore losers. I had no dog in this fight. As a West Indian I'm happy that a West Indian born player is a WC winner.
I'm tempted to say that cricket was the winner today. But the way the champion was decided leaves a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth. Anyway congrats to England.

Bitter taste in your mouth sure, but not in mine nor millions of people.
England played to the current rules, are the World number One and are deserved World Champions.
The Super Over is fine, but the most boundaries thing to break ties seems arbitrary when we can just have additional Super Overs. But it is what it is.
Definitely something more worthwhile to consider than IPL style eliminators for a semi or whatever India wants to implement

England won fair and square. The rules were set long ago. You don't complain when you don;t win according to the rules. It applies to everyone. There is no need to change the rules to SELECT A WINNER AFTER THE GAME.

I agree with you. More boundaries should be left to T20.
Hopefully they come up with something more meaningful for the next CWC
the rule is fine
