If the trend continues
2011 - India in India
2015 - Aus in Aus
2019 - Eng in Eng
2023 - ??? In India

I think it is SA's turn!!

SA lol

Not a chance.

Nevermind with the top 3 unions holding virtually all power in cricket these days.
CwC's coming to the smaller unions is essentially a thing of the past.

Most likely India or Pakistan or even Bangladesh with the turning wickets in India.
Ipl does open it a bit, as players from other countries learn how to negotiate the conditions. Can England find another Rashid and Moen??
The real question is ; can Windies start grooming a pool of spinners and start figuring who really got the goods?

I respect Cornwall’s achievement at the inter-Caribbean level, but it would be a step backwards to play someone who is grossly unfit and can’t field at the International level. This WC demonstrated the value of excellence on the field!!
