They chose racism

black 2019-07-15 12:47:56

The Republican party could have gotten social conservatism from Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, they could have gotten fiscal conservatism from any number of candates but we now know that fiscal conservatism was just a ploy to stop Democratic Presidents.

So now if we do the process of elimination, what are we left with?

Donald Trump is not fiscally conservative and he damn sure is not the most moral person in the world.

So what are we left with? Racism?

The one and only constant in American history.

It's very accommodating though. One day it's coated in fiscal conservatism. One day it's coated in evangelicalism. One day it's coated in anti-abortion rights. One day it's coated in States Rights. Everyday it's coated in patriotism.

The question you should be asking is, what impact is he going to have on future immigrants.

Do you remember his statements about wanting more people from Europe to immigrate here?

And his statements about "shithole countries" and his ban on Muslims?

RH desirable? razz Banas fresh off the boat immigrunts live and buy starter homes there, as they become more successful they move out to better neighborhoods with better schools, cleaner streets etc. Do not lie to folks who are not aware.

John Adams and Richmond Hill High are no good. cool
I have a friend who taught math at John Adams she was shocked and felt sorry for the students, she was particularly surprised how poorly the Indo Guyanese and Trinidadians performed. She tried with them but said they were more interested in cutting classes etc. she eventually transferred.
I am thankful I attended HS in the Caribbean.

I know my friend, the schools suck do not con buyers, they are ranked #3 on most Real Estate sites for a reason, they are failed schools and home owners kids are short changed, fresh off the boat immigrunts are more interested in buying a house in America and clueless as to schools etc which RE Agents do not tout, smarter folks check all these before purchasing. Please post their college acceptance rates. Real Estate is expensive all over NYC rolleyes Reaping serious cash to purchase where in NYC? It is all relative.
It is overcrowded, they literally fight for parking spots on the streets.
Kids suffer from inner city societal ills, teenage pregnancy, substance abuse and lack of employable skills. The stats show this to be so, plus the crabs in a barrel mentality prevent the community from electing representatives that will have their best interests.
Trust me I am well aware. cool

So RE agents are to blame for all the ills in RH. Location is the #1 reason people purchase a home. Many kids who live in RH attend schools outside their district and do damn well, go on to college graduate and have great jobs.

You're an elitist, you know nothing about RH and the surrounding areas, but you bad talk your own. I do as well but I know the majority of them are good hard working people. The issues suffered by these people is not relegated only to them, check Corona, most of Brooklyn the Grand concourse.

Yes, but America was founded on a set of beliefs that were tested during the Revolutionary War. Among them was the idea that all people are created equal, whether European, Native American, or African American, and that these people have fundamental rights, such as liberty, free speech, freedom of religion, due process of law ---
Of course ideals are utopian in politics – but at least they set a goal for the US

This poem was written as a donation to an auction of art and literary works[3] conducted by the "Art Loan Fund Exhibition in Aid of the Bartholdi Pedestal Fund for the Statue of Liberty" to raise money for the pedestal's construction.[4] Lazarus's contribution was solicited by fundraiser William Maxwell Evarts. Initially she refused but writer Constance Cary Harrison convinced her that the statue would be of great significance to immigrants sailing into the harbor.

Obviously, like all the other liars, you have no interest in truth...just lies, misrepresentation and rewriting of history to appease your deep seated hate, selfishness and fear.

For a man that believes in fairy tales:

Statue of Liberty was dedicated in 1886.

The poem was added in 1903.

Ayenmol 2019-07-16 02:38:38

The Statue of Liberty is a figure of Libertas, a robed Roman liberty goddess. She holds a torch above her head with her right hand, and in her left hand carries a tabula ansata inscribed in Roman numerals with "JULY IV MDCCLXXVI" (July 4, 1776), the date of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. A broken shackle and chain lay at her feet as she walks forward, commemorating the recent national abolition of slavery.[7] The statue became an icon of freedom and of the United States, and a national park tourism destination. It is a welcoming sight to immigrants arriving from abroad.

President Cleveland spoke next, stating that the statue's "stream of light shall pierce the darkness of ignorance and man's oppression until Liberty enlightens the world"

So which are you... an ignorant fool or a selfserving ingrate?

Statue of Liberty was dedicated in 1886.

The poem was added in 1903.

"The New Colossus" is a sonnet that American poet Emma Lazarus (1849–1887) wrote in 1883 to raise money for the construction of a pedestal for the Statue of Liberty (Liberty Enlightening the World).[2] In 1903, the poem was cast onto a bronze plaque and mounted inside the pedestal's lower level.

apparently you either never read it or you are lying.

The Poem itself is the reason the statue sits where it does...it just was not thought to place it on the statue at the time!

90% of asylum claims are denied.

The DHS release describes asylum as " a discretionary benefit offered by the United States Government to those fleeing persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion."

If the discretion is to deny the claims of people who are fleeing for most of the three former reasons then apparently somr=ething other than the Asylum is being used to determine their fate....

btw...hhere...liar...
USCIS approved 11,729 affirmative asylum applications in FY 2016, representing slightly more than 10 percent out of the 115,399 affirmative asylum applications filed with the agency. This represented a 34 percent decline from the 17,787 affirmative asylum applications granted in FY 2015

Ayenmol 2019-07-16 03:25:13

What percentage of asylum applications are denied?
Appendix
Fiscal Year Asylum Decisions Percent Denied
2005 30,744 60.3%
2006 29,782 53.6%
2007 27,736 51.9%

Mexico is also riddled with drug activity and many are forced to work for drug lords etc just to earn a living...so yes they have reason....also if people are starving they are going to seek relief...but i guess you think they should just lay down and die!

The Republican Party is not about Donald Trump, its about white Privilege and White Supremacy. Things have been in clear view for the past 70 years.

In fact, you could mark 1948 as the insemination of the modern Republican, as racist Democrat responding to fundamental change of the old South-dominated Democratic Part, bolted from the Dems and eventually came to dominate the Republican Party.

The truth is that Donald Trump saw an opportunity when the Tea Party was formed in reaction to the election of Obama, under the guise of limited government and lower taxes.

black 2019-07-16 11:51:22

Republicans knows they are becoming a minority, that is why they have resorted to restricting the minority votes and gerrymandering.

Spreading fear is another tactic, whether it's terrorism or fear of minorities taking over. And now, their latest scare tactic is the Democratic party turning America into a communist country. Talk shows like Rush Limbaugh's are all too willing to drive that point, home.

Anyone that seek to exploit those fears will immediately get the attention of voters and Trump was all to willing to fill the void with rhetoric not seen since (before) the civil rights era.
