HEADLINE: WINDIES slumps to another series defeat

Back-to-back defeats in Florida, by 4 wickets and 22 runs respectively, sees the West Indies surrendering their three-match T20I series to India, ahead of the final game in Guyana on Tuesday. While, the men in maroon did well to restrict the visitors to 167-5, the Indians would have been the more satisfied team at the halfway stage of the game, on the back of that expensive (20-run) final over from Keemo Paul. Still, following a 67-run opening stand (before Paul sent Shikhar Dhawan’s stumps flying) and getting up to 98 in the 12th over, Kohli’s men would have been eyeing the 200-mark. However, second-spell adjustments from both Thomas and Cottrell meant that the West Indies would be chasing a respectable, but gettable, target of 168.

"Slumps"? They're not slumping. That's their natural position.

What do you expect?

This ordinary looking team along with very poor administration for over two decades, with a very weak if any infrastructure in promoting, developing and supporting of players and the sport.

Looks like Shallow Skirrett hasn't brought us the success we seek. Instead, we seem to be locked in(to) a retrogressive trend.

In essence Norm , You are stating that
is Normal !!!!!! I totally agree with Your assessment .

I always knew that You are a perceptive Person , and once again You have proved that my assessment is
absolutely correct .

A Change in the Fortunes of West Indies Cricket will only become a reality if & when the following things become a Reality .

1. THERE MUST BE A COMPLETE

RESTRUCTURING OF THE WICBC & THE

REGIONAL CRICKET BOARDS .

2. ALL CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE WICBC

AND THE REGIONAL CRICKET BOARDS MUST

BE INELIGEABLE TO BE MEMBERS OF THE

NEW WICBC AND OR THE CURRENT

REGIONAL CRICKET BOARDS .

WE ARE WARNED IN THE BIBLE NOT TO

POUR NEW WINE IN OLD BOTTLES .

THEREFORE HAVING NEW STRUCTURES IN

THE WICBC & THE REGIONAL CRICKET

BOARDS MANNED BY THOSE CURRENTLY IN

THE WICBC & THE REGIONAL BOARDS IS

NOT ONLY A NON STARTER , THAT WOULD

PRESENT THEM OPPORTUNITIES TO

SABOTAGE THE NEW STRUCTURES .

Currently WE are saddled by an Entity that has been in the governance of West Indies Cricket for over 100 freaking Years , and in
all that freaking Time it has bluntly refused to change its archaic Structure .

I think windies performance is really poor. Gayle is added into one day squad but i think there will be no improvement seen in windies team. They should reorganize them and play well.

Wednesday might be Gayle's last game in WI colours, they have to start preparing for next year T20 Championship, I do not know if Gayle would be fit enough for that at 40 years old.
