From the beginning of the protest against police injustice, (kneeling) the NFL was at the center of the struggle. While the protest by the NFL players was admirable, the burden was unfairly dumped on the NFL. If athletes are going to protest injustices, it should take place across ALL sports, not just the NFL. I know there were protests in other leagues but not to the degree of the NFL. If we are to be fair, this presented a potentially severe financial burden to the NFL.
Was it wrong for the NFL to conspire against Kap? Yes, but it was only in an attempt to end the unfair financial burden the league faced. In any case, it was wrong and he was compensated.
Was it enough? Only Kap can answer that question and we don't know that the settlement agreement did not prohibit him from playing again in the NFL.
Now, why should JZ not be allow to enter a contractual agreement with the NFL?
If we are going to go that route, then every Black player that plays for the NFL should do the same (not honor contract).
Why should the burden be unfairly placed on JZ? The NFL have big name players that can do the same and they will have more of an impact, afterall, the game cannot be played without them. And while we are at it, sign up the NBA and Baseball players as well.

Meanwhile, a 40-year-old QB can be lured out of retirement while Kap is still being sidelined/ostracized. SMH!!

We don't know the terms of the settlement, Kap might have agreed not to play again.

It's what he agreed to.

So because they make billions the potential loss does not matter?
