how about all those muslim countries who, without any regards for any other religions and religious minorities, declare they are islamics states? E.g. 'Islamic Republic of Pakistan',"Islamic Republic of Iran" etc. Then they proceed to suppress religious minorities.
Even the ones which don't have 'Islamic'in their name are guilty of suppressing religious and other minorities.
But they can find fault with other countries at the drop of a hat if a group of muslims complain about something.

Simply not true. There are no Islamic countries, there are many Muslim majority countries that are absolutely ragged and Islam and other minority religions are oppressed and repressed- Example includes Egypt, Saudi Arabia and PAKISTAN, where some Muslims, all Hindus and all Christians are oppressed.

India was supposed to be different post independence, a nation with many ethnic groups and religions but it appears she is quickly becoming another Saudi Arabia.

How come there are no Islamic countries? Wikipedia says "Iran, also called Persia, and officially the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a country in Western Asia."

and there are a lot more muslim countries (than what you listed), both sunni and shia, where religious minorities are repressed.

One of the biggest issue I have seen and heard about was the special way Muslims are treated in India, like having their own laws in place and the rest 80-90 per cent of the population having to obey the law of the land.

You had to throw in Islam vs Islam to hide the intolerance Islam has shown towards other religions. The fact is, terrorism has played a big part in some of the policies we are seeing in India today.

Terrorism has had a major impact. However, the Kashmiri desire for autonomy dates back to the partition. I am not sure this aggressive posturing by the BJP government will do any good.

Non Muslims have lived peacefully in Muslim countries for 100s of years,Armenian Christians still live in Iran as also Jews.Iraq,Egypt,Saudi and Pakistan the same.I do not see a war against non Muslims in Muslim countries.I have read of quite a lot of attacks on Muslims in India.

Whenever you hate comes through, you brain goes back to the source and for you that is your Fox News orientation- pre Trump, perhaps you are not aware of what your brain does, it may be subconscious.

What else can explain your hatred for Islam and you blatant conflating of Islam with the cultural behavior and attitude of people from Muslim majority countries and equating Islam with their behavior, despite many many lessons on the difference between a religion and some of the people who use it for their evil means.

In reply to B16JP587SI too am an Atheist mate and since my early stages of school I couldn't believe the bull shit that big people believe about Holy books.I am not a specialist in this topic but have read many stories form Jews and Christians.Their stories were saying they had a peaceful co-existence with their Muslim neighbours,and that was the way for 100s and 100s of years,why deny that,anyway I do know things changed rapidly and those non Muslims have suffered over the last 10 to 15 years,I wonder why things have changed,maybe you do know,I think I know why.You understand a massacre against 5 or 600 Muslims in India won't be emblazoned on the front pages of newspapers,but 50 or 100 Christians would be.The unfair and illegal invasion of Iraq and the targeting of Muslims since the Twin Towers,the smashing down of Libya may have something to do with reactions by Muslims.I am not saying it's right but it appears that everyone wants to pick up arms against someone,the world is being taken over by racist right wing groups,and they all would like to finish off Muslims,so you think Muslims won't react.
PS,I feel sure if you go back into history you find a massacre by Muslims against non Muslims and by non Muslims against Muslims,don't forget the targeting of Muslims started in the 11 century by European Crusaders.
