B-News: There was no Blackmail

So says Ukraine President.

Well, you know, behind the scenes, somebody got to him. That’s what happens when you are placed in this position by a more powerful nation and its corrupt leader, where there is something you want from him.

President Zelensky finds himself in this unique position; he has gotten his $400M, and could do with some more, and with Trump in a weaken position, this is Zelensky offering his quid and hopefully he can get more pro, should Trump escape impeachment.

That Ukraine’s act in this drama, America’s constitutional act is to proceed with impeachment and with the facts let the Americans decide whether there was an initial quid pro quo.

In such a case Ukraine and it’s President Zelensky have nothing to lose, but America does; it’s democracy.

The star witness refutes Democrats narrative.

Dis Done!

Just started. That witness can say whatever he wants because he knows he will not be called before the judge.

I would think there is a majority of Americans who are smarter than the Kool-Aid drunks to take that comment from Zelensky at face value.

the impeachment matter surrounds asking a foreign govt to investigate a political rival. how does blackmail come into that?

Runs 2019-10-10 13:16:16

1 President asks foreign governments on more than one occasion to on investigate his political rival - Impeachable offence

2 President held back aid to pressure govt to investigate his political opponent - Impeachable offence

3 President refuses to cooperate with Congress and blocks witnesses and documents - Impeachable offence

So why are the lame ass Democrats not impeaching the Dotard?

What else are they waiting for?

sadly yes, this is the case and for some time.

I warned early and plainly, that many here where premature in the excitement about this impeachment matter.

While the pressure is building, the call for an impeachment has plateaued. and the fundamentals remain exactly the same: YOU NEED SENATE support.

The best way out for the democrats are in the polls, votes and voices of the people.

Elizabeth Warren is about the only electable candidate currently.

All others have one or more of the following issues:
a. perceived to be (or tethered to) Obama
b. very low polls
c. low campaign funds
d. weak political savvy/manifesto
e. too far left (or god forbid: socialist)

The pressure on Trump is significant though.

lol lol lol

Yes, they pretty well have everything, but Nancy and Co. are waiting to bring along the public, which in turns puts pressure on senate Republicans.

Without at least 20 of those Republican senators, Nancy knows she can’t get rid of the bugger.

Be patient, get your pop-corn, relax and enjoy the ride.

He used capslock for a reason.

That being said I do not think the Dems are dumb; more so cowards. And to throw them a bone is the electorate predictable?
