Has Chris Gayle retired?
In reply to Gun_Play
Did you not see his send off in Trinidad?

In the 3RD ODI AGAINST INDIA
You didnt watch that?

Man, WI cricket has me so bewildered I usually just check the score.
Unless I happen to be watching t.v and a game is on I don't hurt my head.
I guess I missed it.
I saw that King kid... He looks good

There is no law that says that once Chris Gayle has not officially retired he must be picked. He dos not have a divine right to be in any West Indies squad.
As far as I can recall, neither Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels nor Jerome Taylor has announced his retirement.

No worries man. I dont watch every game either, but that one had a lot of fanfare because of the way he exited the field after getting out and few in the crowd or media knew he would have that kind of exit signalling an end to his international career.
Its still a guess because as far as I know, no official statement about his retirement from the international arena has been made to date.

Okay.
He will be missed. He gave the WI a fear factor that won us a few games.
I don't think we have another batsman capable of that.
In reply to Gun_Play
Capable?
Evin Lewis
Nicholas Pooran
Shimron Hetmeyer
Andre Russell
Kieron Pollard
All capable of that fear factor. How consistent that will be and whether it will lead to a few wins is the question
