Politicians are known for telling a lie or two from time to time but usually with the expectation that people would believe it or not (mostly hoping they would believe it) and that would be the end of it.

Enter Donald Trump, it was always said, "tell a lie often enough and people would believe it" but no one dared trying this Soviet style tactic until he came along.

This is something Putin and Kim Jung un did on a regular basis but no one expected this to be a regular occurrence in the good old U.S.A.

The bad thing about it is, people like nitro and maj are big believers of Trump lies. It's a good thing we don't have a Putin/Jung un equivalent on the Democratic side.

Poor nitro and maj don't know what is up or down, anymore.

Many people know ' what is up or down ' but for personal reasons or personal insecurities they echo obvious untruths. However; Trump is not only a tool of Russia by spreading their propaganda, but his diplomatic practices are atrocious, look at his recent statements about the French President. I do not know how some of the other Presidents could sit with him to do business.

Have you ever wondered why pedophiles, rapists, racists, fraudsters and generally the worst scum of the earth are somehow affiliated with the Republican party and they all gravitate towards Trump? Hilary Clinton got it right when she said his supporters are deplorable. She later apologized but she was not wrong.

Many of the Trump supporters on this forum fall in a different category but are sill a subset of the deplorables. They are mostly disgusted by Trumps history of sexual assault, his associations with rapists, pedophiles, crooks, his stunning stupidity, childishness and general unpresidential behavior. However, as long as he carries out their mandate of attacking a certain race and/or religion, he is still their guy. They will still worship him and fellate him if necessary.
