Still an enjoyable game

My main complain is not bowling out Hayden Walsh. On these sort of wickets, your leg spinner is always your trump card and you have to take the risk and bowl him out. Hetmyer was getting into Chahal but Kohli didn't stop. His 2 wickets probably saved India a 10-15 runs.

Was a huge improvement in the batting. King played well and was great to see Hety back in the runs. Pollard scored too which is great.

Evin is a beast in T20 cricket.

Bowl him still, need to have confidence in your leggies. They not gonna improve when you keep only giving them 2 overs cause they take a little tap. Chahal use to tek nuff blows too.

22 extras ...5 overs approx 20 runs per over .

3.4 over ...60 runs

Cant expect to win....but good experience.

On that wicket they needed to put up a bigger score ... you guys forgetting Kohli pre-game comments..

Virat Kohli | India captain: We're going to bowl first. There will be dew in 45 mins to one hour. It's a beautiful wicket to bat on, and it's going to get better to bat with the ball coming on nicely and the ball travels. Chasing has been better for us to be honest - our strength.

These are the type of games that WI of old use to win!
It’s India’s time now!

TRUTH...we did better than anybody expected we got beaten by a Kohli special. Kohli out cheap and we win that match. All de bellyaching and blaming avoids the fact that our bats came off way better than expected and we would win most games where we score 200 plus. Sometimes the opposition does something special too.

It was a pleasant surprise actually. One of the rare WIndies game that I actually enjoyed and not just because of Hety's improved control of his temperament.
Some players will fire, some more often than others. Kohli seems to fire every time. Main difference in that match.

Turns out I was right about Walsh. That wicket of Dube was the turning point in our bowling phase. Taken by none other than Walsh. Shreyas Iyer is a dangerous batsman too, another big wicket for Walsh.

My only disappointment today was Pollard not giving Pierre his 4 overs. Was a brilliant move by management to leave King behind as Simmons was in and let the lefties counter Jadeja and Chahal.

cool

Natty Jen was bang on. I think the fashionable cliche is "spot on."

We saw the overall trend with the team from that enjoyable first game.

Will win some, will lose some. Miami Dolphins was the last perfect season, 47 years ago. 1972.
