HEADLINE: CWI PRESIDENT WELCOMES DWAYNE BRAVO'S AVAILABILITY FOR T20 INTERNATIONAL CRICKET

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua - Dwayne Bravo’s announcement that he has ended his retirement from International Twenty 20 cricket has been welcomed by Ricky Skerritt, President of Cricket West Indies. Bravo said today that he will be available for West Indies selection, in 2020, the year of the next ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.

According to President Skerritt “Bravo has the performance track record that should never have been lost from the West Indies cricket talent pool. One of the reasons Dr. Shallow and myself sought the Presidency was to review the team selection policy to become completely inclusive, and to ensure that selection is based strictly on merit and performance readiness. Bravo’s return reminds us what a negative impact politics and pettiness has had on our cricket. The possibility that Bravo, a former West Indies captain, can again be a fierce and formidable all-rounder in his maroon colors, is a welcomed possibility.”

Another great move Mr Prez, shows that you are forward- thinking and proactively trying to get WI team out of its losing mode by at least attempting to galvanize your best group of available players. Unlike your predecessors both past prez and his crony of backward thinking selectors.

This is disgraceful, oh well.

I hope they lose every match that this dumb-ass plays in. I am a West Indian, but any match that this idiot plays in, I'll be rooting for the opposing team. And I know that Pollard is also a Trinidadian, and they run things in this mediocre West Indies set up, but Pollard better watch himself with this badminded, selfish, greedy, pea-brained individual!

Is anyone interested Pullout Dwayne's current form?

When was the last time he played competitive cricket?

Should we pick a man based on passed reputation?

He just played a T10 tournament with some other top cricketers.

Not ideal...but it'll do

Coming from the President, that part of the statement was totally unnecessary, Chrissy.

bravo and new management must be doing a lot of things right - going by the way you are wound-up. every match the west indies win with bravo as a member of the team will be televised. i hope your face - dumb expression and all- will also be televised just for the fun of it.
