Fools and Foolishness..

Ayenmol 2019-12-27 14:28:09

The Bible's Viewpoint.

A Genesis to Revelation quotation:

6 Is this the way that you should treat Jehovah, O foolish and unwise people? Is he not your Father who caused your existence, The One who made you and firmly established you?

Ayenmol 2019-12-27 14:31:38

13 At this Samuel said to Saul: “You have acted foolishly. You have not obeyed the commandment that Jehovah your God gave you. If you had, Jehovah would have made your kingdom firm over Israel forever. 14 But now your kingdom will not last. Jehovah will find a man agreeable to his heart, and Jehovah will commission him as a leader over his people, because you did not obey what Jehovah commanded you.”

Ayenmol 2019-12-27 14:41:39

10 But David’s heart* was struck with remorse after he had numbered the people. David then said to Jehovah: “I have sinned greatly by doing this. And now, Jehovah, please forgive your servant’s error, for I have acted very foolishly.”

Ayenmol 2019-12-27 15:25:01

8 David then said to the true God: “I have sinned greatly by doing this. And now, please, forgive your servant’s error, for I have acted very foolishly.”

We must never question God’s love despite our imperfections
The prophet Malachi wrote

2 “I have loved you,” says the Lord.

“But you ask, ‘How have you loved us?’

“Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the Lord. “Yet I have loved Jacob, 3 but Esau I have hated, and I have turned his hill country into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals.”

4 Edom may say, “Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins.”

Ayenmol 2019-12-27 15:36:12

8 Were not the E·thi·opi·ans and the Liby·ans a very great army with many chariots and horsemen? But because you relied on Jehovah, he gave them into your hand. 9 For the eyes of Jehovah are roving about through all the earth to show his strength* in behalf of those whose heart is complete toward* him. You have acted foolishly in this matter; from now on there will be wars against you.”

2 For resentment will kill the foolish one, And envy will put the simpleminded to death.

Ayenmol 2019-12-27 17:08:25

3 I have seen the foolish one taking root, But suddenly his dwelling place is cursed.

Ayenmol 2019-12-27 18:05:40

8 Now take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job, and offer up a burnt sacrifice for yourselves. And my servant Job will pray for you. I will surely accept his request* not to deal with you according to your foolishness, for you have not spoken the truth about me as my servant Job has.”

Ayenmol 2019-12-27 22:13:27

17 He makes counselors go barefoot,* And he makes fools of judges.

9 Would it turn out well if he examined you? Will you fool him as you would a mortal man?

Your God is vengeful, spiteful, hateful, egotistical, insecure and monstrous.

14 The foolish* one says in his heart: “There is no Jehovah.” Their actions are corrupt, and their dealings are detestable; No one is doing good.

5 My wounds stink and fester Because of my foolishness.

Ayenmol 2019-12-28 04:10:55

18 Remember the enemy’s taunts, O Jehovah, How a foolish people treats your name with disrespect.

Ayenmol 2019-12-28 04:29:07

22 Rise up, O God, and plead your legal case. Remember how the foolish taunt you all day long.

Ayenmol 2019-12-28 06:27:30

6 No unreasoning man can know them; And no foolish person can understand this: 7 When the wicked sprout like weeds* And all the wrongdoers flourish, It is that they may be annihilated forever.

VIX 2019-12-28 13:29:21

Today I received some counsel that has cleaared my thinking.

2 Timothy 2;16 says... "But reject empty speeches that violate what is holy, for they will lead to more and more ungodliness".

Also, Psalms 119:63 says... "I am a friend of all who fear you And of those who keep your orders."

While I enjoy and try to help others to get to know God. This is not the way.

Therefor. This is my last post on the board.

Ayenmol 2019-12-28 14:06:57

2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth. Repay to the haughty what they deserve. 3 How long will the wicked, O Jehovah, How long will the wicked continue to exult? 4 They babble and speak arrogantly; All the wrongdoers brag about themselves. 5 They crush your people, O Jehovah, And oppress your inheritance. 6 They kill the widow and the foreign resident, And they murder the fatherless children. 7 They say: “Jah does not see; The God of Jacob does not take notice of it.” 8 Understand this, you who are unreasoning; You foolish ones, when will you ever show insight? 9 The One who made* the ear, can he not hear? The One who formed the eye, can he not see? 10 The One correcting the nations, can he not reprove? He is the One who imparts knowledge to people! 11 Jehovah knows the thoughts of men, That they are but a mere breath. 12 Happy is the man whom you correct, O Jah, Whom you teach from your law, 13 To give him tranquillity during days of calamity, Until a pit is dug for the wicked. 14 For Jehovah will not forsake his people, Nor will he abandon his inheritance. 15 For judgment will once again be righteous, And all the upright in heart will follow it. 16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against the wrongdoers? 17 If Jehovah had not been my helper, I* would soon have perished.* 18 When I said: “My foot is slipping,” Your loyal love, O Jehovah, kept supporting me. 19 When anxieties* overwhelmed me,* You comforted and soothed me.* 20 Can a throne* of corruption be allied with you While it is framing trouble in the name of the law?* 21 They make vicious attacks on the righteous one* And condemn the innocent one to death.* 22 But Jehovah will become a secure refuge* for me, My God is my rock of refuge. 23 He will make their wicked deeds come back upon them. He will do away with* them by means of their own evil. Jehovah our God will do away with* them. ”

Had to post the entire chapter of Psalms 94.

WRITTEN ALMOST 4000 YEARS AGO.

It is proof positive that hatred of the true God and his people have always existed.

Ayenmol 2019-12-28 17:37:34

15 Let people give thanks to Jehovah for his loyal love And for his wonderful works in behalf of the sons of men. 17 They were foolish and suffered affliction On account of their transgressions and their errors.

Ayenmol 2019-12-28 20:49:06

5 A wise person listens and takes in more instruction; A man of understanding acquires skillful direction* 7 The fear of* Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge. Only fools despise wisdom and discipline.

Ayenmol 2019-12-29 13:51:15

20 True wisdom cries aloud in the street. It keeps raising its voice in the public squares. 21 At the corner* of the busy streets it calls out. At the entrances of the city gates it says: 22 “How long will you inexperienced ones love inexperience? How long will you ridiculers take pleasure in ridicule? And how long will you foolish ones hate knowledge? 23 Respond to my reproof.* Then I will pour out my spirit for you; I will make my words known to you. 24 Because I called out, but you kept refusing, I stretched out my hand, but no one was paying attention,
29 Because they hated knowledge, And they did not choose to fear Jehovah. 30 They refused my advice; They disrespected all my reproof. 31 So they will bear the consequences* of their way, And they will be glutted with their own counsel.*

You can enter a man's house, eat his food, take lodging, play with his toys etc. Then choose to bad mouth him and insult his decisions and even claim he does not deserve your respect.

Eventually he is going to clean house and put you out...hopefully you have another house to go to that he does not own.

Orherwise you are what? A fool.

30 They refused my advice; They disrespected all my reproof. 31 So they will bear the consequences* of their way, And they will be glutted with their own counsel.* 32 For the waywardness of the inexperienced will kill them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them.

We don't have to imagine. Go read the old testament and see what he did to people who mocked, ridiculed and didn't believe in him.

And if that was not enough, in the New Testament he came up with other forms of more horrible punishment for those that don't believe in him.

Incorrect....many many tribes prospered who mocked, ridiculed and didnt believe in HIM.

IT IS WHEN THEY PHYSICALLY OPPOSED HIS PEOPLE THE ISRAELITES IN THE OLD TESTAMENT THAT THEY SUFFERED HIS WRATH.

Tell me the horrible punishment executed in the New Testament because the only punishment I know is those inflicted on Jesus and his disciples/apostles.

Ayenmol 2019-12-30 01:43:34

22 The wicked one is ensnared by his own errors, And he will be caught in the ropes of his own sin. 23 He will die for lack of discipline And go astray because of his excessive foolishness.

10 Proverbs of Solo·mon. A wise son makes his father rejoice, But a foolish son is the grief of his mother. 2 The treasures gained by wickedness will be of no benefit, But righteousness is what rescues from death.

Did the people physically opposed the Israelites when God destroyed every living thing except Noah and the ark?

Did the people of Sodom physically opposed the Israelites when God destroyed every living thing except Lot? He even destroyed the man's wife just for looking back! Clearly this is someone out of control.

Did Job's innocent family and other possessions physically opposed the Israelites when God allowed Satan to destroy them just to prove a stupid point? This destruction lies entirely at the feet of God, a person who is clearly out of control to play with people's lives like that.

There are more instances but I only needed one to prove that my point and to disprove yours.

The more horrific permanent punishments in the NT is hell, the lake of fire, as most churches preach. And if you say that the bible doesn't teach this then that's why all of you christians are confused and saying different things. Because you choose to believe in books written by people which inherently will have contradictions, embellishment and lies in them.

I understand that nothing I say here will make any difference to your beliefs, because religion is so much more than a person's belief. It is their whole identity. Religion makes people accustom to certain sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touch and these form deep, strong habits that when taken away could make a person feel deeply lost if there isn't an equivalent replacement.

Ballsahdiah 1:13 The fool believes in his heart that there is a God.

Stephen Roberts- I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.

Emo Phillips- When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way. So I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.

George Carlin(paraphrased) When it comes to big time bullshit, a businessman cannot hold a candle to a clergyman.

Gene Roddenberry- We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes.

Can you take this somewhere else please?

Makes no use arguing with someone about God's right to judge.

Humans take away life. Governments take away life.

None of them can give life.

But someone thinks God has no right to terminate the life of those who oppose him.

Waste of time.

What point....you have no point....if you had a point you would state it or refute the reality I posted.

Do you purchase a car then abandon it in the street to be taken care of by the manufacturer?

Everything HE has made has a purpose...you don't have to pay for a single life, yet he has mechanisms built into them that they do not become a nuisance.

HE created beings...the most valuable thing on Earth....and not a single person has to pay for it.

HE placed them in a family .... ensuring that each one is taken care of by another...and though it was not his purpose...when we die all we do is put that person in a box and HIS built in mechanism takes over.

Man is yet to duplicate that!

But a fool like you here talking foolishness. Looking at Brilliance and casting aspersions.

Like a drunk spitting at the President.

Or a drunk picking a fight with the Ocean, or Wind or Mountaain.

You are nothing but a fool!

That very body that decays does not polute the ground after it is gone.

So brilliant HE is, that HE takes us from the ground....makes a lifeform out of inate matter...returns us to the ground as if we were never here.

But I have to listen to a dope like you cry about having to bury other humans.

You also have to wipe their butt as babies....just as your own butt got wiped.

Yet he will take control over all the things I spent great effort and wisdom to acquire under the sun. Yes Sir, but you know your God also mentions false prophets

20 Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the Lord, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.

2 Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the Lord.

3 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The Lord hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib.

4 For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

5 Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.

6 And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies.

Paul never preached like this
Acts 17

In Athens

16 While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. 17 So he reasoned in the synagogue with both Jews and God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there. 18 A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to debate with him. Some of them asked, “What is this babbler trying to say?” Others remarked, “He seems to be advocating foreign gods.” They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection. 19 Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him, “May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting? 20 You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we would like to know what they mean.” 21 (All the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas.)

22 Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. 23 For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.

24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[c]

29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. 30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

18 Let no one deceive himself: If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this system of things,* let him become a fool, so that he may become wise.

14 But a physical man does not accept* the things of the spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot get to know them, because they are examined spiritually.

23 Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshippers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for indeed, the Father is looking for ones like these to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit, and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth.”

Why this preoccupation with truth?

33 You have sent men to John, and he has borne witness to the truth.

What truth?

16 And yet even if I do judge, my judgment is truthful, because I am not alone, but the Father who sent me is with me.

32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Philippians 2 King James Version (KJV)

2 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

They Became Fools: A Pauline Description of Apostasy in Israel and its Prescriptive Implications for both Jews and Gentiles in Romans 1:18-25

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

You attacck me for posting scriptures because you do not like what it says.....like many of the false prophets out there who only consider the scriptures that feel good.

You call me an apostate.

False claim based on no data.

You claim Paul would never call people fools...I prove you wrong.

You call me false christian....I ask you to state what a true Christian is.....you can't do it.

So every time I ask you to back your attacks with the Scriptures you can't do it....just attack me.

Bit am the wicked?

All you can do is spout lies but can't reason or give an answer when asked a legitimate question.

Post lies and make charges that are easily refuted.

But you want to call me apostate.... because I post scriptures?

Do you even know what apostasy is?

You could not tell me what truth is.

Try to tear me down while claiming am tearing others down because you can't stand reading scriptures that don't massage your ego.

Or maybe it exposes you personally....

7 The days of reckoning will come, The days of retribution will come, And Israel will know it. Their prophet will be a fool, and the man of inspiration will go mad; Because your error is abundant, the animosity against you is abundant.”

19 But I ask, Israel did not fail to know, did they? First Moses says: “I will incite you to jealousy through that which is not a nation; I will incite you to violent anger through a foolish nation.”

Apostasy?
2 Peter 3 16b; 17

There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. 17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability

Don't ask stupid questions.

Maybe there needs to be another coming of Christ so he can start talking about things modern day humans identify with instead of donkeys and oil lamps.
