ST GEORGE’S, Grenada – The selection panel of Cricket West Indies (CWI) today named the 13-man squad for the three-match Twenty20 International against Ireland. The matches will be played at Grenada National Stadium on Wednesday, January 15 and at Warner Park, St Kitts on Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19.
There are recalls for all-rounders Dwayne Bravo and Rovman Powell. Bravo, a two-time ICC World T20 World Cup winner, last played at the international level against Pakistan in the UAE in September, 2016. Powell last represented the West Indies against India in Guyana in August, 2019.
Bravo, 36, has played 270 matches for West Indies across all three formats. In T20Is he has made 66 appearances with an impressive record of 52 wickets and 1,142 runs. His highest score is 66 not out which came against India at Lord’s in 2009, the same match where he also took four wickets.

Kudos to whoever it is that prepared this article, one (or group) who outlaid all positives for the event of Bravo's return.
Others might've chosen to remind us of Bravo's short-lived reign as captain which ended in somewhat of a disgrace on an overseas (Indian) tour.

You are aware that the T20 World Cup will be held in Australia? Are you aware that of this announced team only Pollard and Bravo have played there and maybe Simmons If you think we have a chance with just a young, inexperienced team in Australia, then you are living in a dream world. Experience will have to be added.

A few months ago an acquaintance (a cc.com poster) called and asked me where the poster natty_forever was from. Actually, he started off by saying that the poster had a rather peculiar handle for a Guyanese.
When I told him that you were actually a Yardie he went speechless.

Please son! the Bravos both, and the horse disappear in big games that counts. They've been doing it a decade now. You living in the past. How do you know what you have unless you try it /use it. Give the youngsters a chance. The Bravos, horse,Sammy the nose, and No pelting-rain are disruptive failures.

If we are planning for T20 WC in Oz then I am disappointed that Johnson Charles has been excluded (could also be back up keeper) and that we have not included a genuine fastbowler or at least a seam up pacer. Maybe with Bravo's return Williams is surplus to requirement (his slower ball variations will be less effective on Oz pitches).
