...but without the silverware to show for it.
What's good for the donkey is also good for the ass.

Sammy 2.0 is real.

Hmmm
Interesting take
In reply to Halliwell
It's either we have very short memories or we are bloody hypocrites.
...lhm.
For the records.
If my cappo achieves half, just half of Sammy's accomplishments (that's all I want for now), I will concede that he has done exceedingly well.
In reply to Discourse
You know I can retrieve all of the donkey threads from the archives since I joined the MB.
In reply to Courtesy
For sure, yet you continue to support.
In reply to Discourse
Achieving half of what Sammy has might be out of the question,Sammy has played 38 Tests,126 ODI and 68 T/20I.What yuh want,an Obeah man>

One a di culprits. The other is a prolific thread starter in the BR.
In reply to johnjo I wish a 100 hurricanes lash dotties this summer.
In reply to Wally-1
dotties and the homosexual jala loathe successful players and praises asses like Scammy
They were egged by some hypocrites here with monotonous regularity.
In reply to granite
Pouty was never given the opportunity yet
we have the braying started.
For some reason Caribbean nationals hate success. Instead of praising the Administrators taking a step forward we are back to our plantation toxicity..
Crabs in the Barrel syndrome.
Very sad.
In reply to sgtdjones
I did not start this thread to criticize Pollard and even if I did. It's an attempt to expose the sanctimonious hypocrites who kept their asses shut when in times past when the courtesies were extended to another cappo.
The most vile things were posted then in dumper loads.
In reply to granite
You actually disagree....
My brother the thread says 2:0
Who are u supporting???
In reply to Courtesy
I view you as one of the intelligent individuals on this site.
You as noted sanctimonious hypocrites
now you are provoking debate with such individuals. You know who they are, are you trying to get down to their level?.
One let such individuals bray and take the high ground. I expected more from you.

No. When the discussion/discourse reaches the level of hypocrisy, I will expose it when and where necessary.
In reply to Courtesy
Good luck going down that road.
Personally, I see such a waste of time.
In reply to sgtdjones
Thanks. I and I determine my destiny.
In reply to Courtesy
I whole heartily concur.
$ammy is a good man, and exponent of people like me with limited natural talent if not resources.
If it weren't for that one lapse in judgement at the T20 WC presentation ceremony when he performed his now infamous foot-in-mouth impression, who knows what heights he would've attained.
I think the few years in the wilderness have taught him well. At least, should have. No reason he can't get another look in. Unless he's forced to earn his place this time around, that is.
Please, please do not derail. This thread nor its initiator does not support Sammy's inclusion to any West Indies side. Please, please...
It's about those who are sanctimonious and hypocritical when Polly is criticized as if he should be out of bounds.
In reply to Courtesy
I agree what was said was hurtful. But ppl were emotional. When sammy was appointed he was not even on the radar for a test team pick. And the fact that the leaders of the executive hailed from the same iskand meant it wad particularly offensive. I remember my mom, who is a friend of Mr Basarath telling me thst he said the decision to appoint sammy was a thief in the night.
In reply to Jumpstart
I cannot discount your personal view on the matter. But gosh...the incessant bile which flowed here was unbelievable. And now persons are playing holier than thou...downright hypocrisy.
Sammy 2.0 is real.
In reply to Jumpstart
Review that post bro, it's not accurate.
In reply to Discourse
We all know the circumstances which surrounded Sammy's appointment. I just let his post fly.
In reply to Courtesy
Lol... cool

It's on the record. "West Indies cricket is not a priority" or words to that effect. How convenient now that it is a priority.

Nothing here surprises me. Its a reflection of the wider Caribbean society.
In reply to johnjo
Welcome back comrade. It is indeed a microcosm of West Indian culture.

I have not seen the[alternative]facts recently either ...

You are a true donkey carrying all that burden..
In reply to Walco
Right after one of his posts degenerated to the lowest of lows in a response to Cheeks he disappeared into thin air. Before this he was on and off. He may have gone off for good.
In reply to Khaga
Australia's cricket team rode on the backs of 1.4 billion donkeys today...What say you?
That must have been a hell of a burden for you and your entire Indian population of beasts of burden to carry...eenit?
In reply to Courtesy
Shite, that was below the belt but indeed necessary.
In reply to Courtesy
Typical subhuman reaction..
In reply to Khaga
Not as bad as your folks finding the nearest railway track and shitting on it. Imagine 1.4 billion shits daily on your railway tracks. This would far exceed any subhuman condition or reaction.
In reply to Khaga
Oh Khaga, wish I could help you out, but you've dug yourself such a deep hole, any attempt at assistance would only prove futile.
Sorry.
In reply to johnjo
Nice to see you junjo.
I was worried that you took your countryman Wesley's advice and jumped.
