bravo is one of the greatest t20 cricketers in the history of the game. The man literally changed the format with his slower deliveries in the death overs

Hyena, Bhai?
Thought that was one of POINT's keyword for WICB or the pseudo journalists!!
In reply to Realsteel
he would have also been one of the greatest test players had two mal-administrations not destroyed his test career. Imagine these guys picked carlos brathwite and holder over bravo.,...an allrounder of international renown. Holder has proven himself to be quality but rememberr the name is a joke aside from the 100 and the four sixes which ironically was built on bravo's hard work in the group and knockout stages

Jumpfart, here are the stats in Summary:
Both Dancing Harry and Jay both played 40 test matches
Jason 40 matches HS 202 3 tons avg 32.72. Harry 40 matches HS 106 3 tons avg 31.42
Bowling Jason avg 26.37 to Dancing Harry 39.83.
ODI Jason played 112 matches , avg 25.68, while Danning Harry 25.36, Bowling Jadon avg 35.91 to Bravo 29.51.
According Jason is a superior test player to Danning Harry and an equally ODI player to Bravo.

This move is a little bit too late. Bringing him back a bit earlier may have ensured a better showing in the T20I series against the mighty Afghans recently .... not fair!!

I am seeing Dancing Harry, Jay, Sason, Danning Harry and Bravo in your post, make up your mind on who you want to call what.
Secondly based on your post and use of stats how can you say they were equal in ODIs?
In reply to Kay
he did it against the mighty green men..
In reply to nick2020
Why you think he back to playing and done with singing.

We are minnows, look at the ICC rankings.
To get up the ladder we must beat minnows before we play the top teams.
With new administrators, Coaches, and captains we are showing improvements in T20 and ODI to date. The teams are a combination of established players and youth, a period for learning while playing.
I see a trend that will move us up the rankings, another year and a judgement can be made.
CWI keep up the good work.

I have always said, the performance on the field mirrors that off.
In reply to Andy99
, you know that its a mis type since I am comparing 2players in the text, in the case of the ODI Jason is the better bat, while Dancing Harry (Bravo) is the better bowler, hence the term equally.
In reply to sgtdjones
Tamarind Jones, we beat the green men in May. Let agree to wipe the slate going forward and that accordingly to you we have progress.
Next progress report is due after the English tour.

I got a D in maths, you got an A.

Homie...... Jason only now fullfilling his talent. And he has never had to worry about administrations exiling him, even now when the men who appointed him under very contreversial circumstances are long gone. Secondly.... You tell any cricket fan outside the WI that holder is a superior ODI player to the hyena and see if you wont be laughed out the country
Jason, son, cannot do this

This is the sad reality of the current legacy of West Indies cricket.
We have been reduced to comparing the stats of DJ Bravo vs Holder.
In reply to nick2020
Not Sobers, Kallis, Botham, Pollock, a couple Paks, OZ and 1 current RSA player taking wickets who actually have more than 3 tons and have plenty more wickets than Bravo. Dem stretching to make very good bowler who can bat a bit into Ben Stokes a soon to be regarded as a great all rounder. There are cricketers who missed a year or two and never missed a beat.
Bravo was already 30 plus on age already and never was going to be any better than current. T20 lengthened his career.
In reply to Jumpstart
that experience boy, he is being doing it so long. You will think by now West Indies would have developed another top level death bowler
Thought i made a post...but now not seeing it, to highlight that stats alone do not tell the full picture.
DJB toured South Africa, Australia and New Zealand..and played against some REAL greats of the game.
Has Jason Holder ever toured South Africa or Australia?
In reply to DIEHARD
Ent DJ have a gundred at perth vs Lee, Mcgrath, warne and co?
