Exactly ! He and his scientists were taking a "different approach". The idea was to allow as many people as possible to get infected. I would not be surprised if he deliberately self- infected himself to prove his theory. The thought crossed my mind as soon as I heard that he was positve. I wish that he recovers fully of course. But there will be no harm if he suffers a little bit for his folly. It will serve as a great lesson for many of us who are still not taking this thing seriously.

He was the one ‘in good spirits and up and about’ yesterday at 5pm and in ICU by 8pm.
He was moved there, and put on Oxygen, but ‘as a precaution only’
He spent the night in ICU but this morning ‘is in good spirits and in a stable condition’
He is still on oxygen but ‘doesn’t have pneumonia’
So what is it? Is he taking the place of someone that needs the ICU to survive?
Is he in good spirits or required assistance to breathe?
Is he 13 days into his illness?
Something doesn’t add up.
A poster above says he probably deliberately infected himself- I’m not sure he knows how but there is a lot of political capital to be gained with the rabid Brexiteers to ‘get Covid19, go to the ICU, and come out the other side.’
I’m not saying he’s lying but...
