Gayle fighting with everybody
sorry but to me this whole situation is silly. Gayle SHOULD know at this stage of his career, he is simply OVER-PLAYING and teams now have to consider do they want to risk having him. He is FAR from his prime and Tallawahs had a terrible season last year. many people have even questioned why he still playing professional cricket
But let me guess the yardies will attack Sarwan, this is instead the narrative

Probably. As i said before gayle, as good a cricketer as he has been, is not thst person now. And everytime management does make a tough decision, he reacts. Ditto his RCB departure. But if there is a political slant, then the decision is not about performsnce, its about politics. Totally different. And i realky hope sarwan has not gotten himself tied up in that situation because guyana's self destructive politics has no place in the cpl. And gayle himself should have excercised some discretion. Everyone in the wedt indies knows how noxious guyanese politics is,. Even if theguy is your friend, you should have rejected the visit.

Is it about politics or performance? we may never know because everyone will have their side of the story. However what cant be denied is what I mentioned earlier, and that is Gayle is BEYOND his days as a player that demands a place in any team. So if that is their reason for not selecting him then they have a strong argument.

Exactly. Its not the first time gayle and franchise have had a problematic exit. The same thing haopened at RCB. The owner needs to settle this though, clear the air because yardies already pick their side and it will be impossible for them to have a franchise their with this hanging over.
I may agree with Gayle's approach to the video but I can understand the premise of what he has said. If they wanted to get rid of him then just tell him straight up, man we ain't retaining you, instead of what appears to be playing games and trying to set him up to say he wasn't retained because he refused to take a pay cut. It back fired when Gayle agreed to the pay cuts so they just submitted a list without his name. That to me is very deceitful and any human would be upset about that.

Uh because gayle historically has a habit ov not taking criticism well. Remember his RCB exit

This was not about Gayle being criticized though. This is about him being deceived and led to believe he was being retained when he was not. He found out he wasn't retained when he got a call from one of the CPL people to say they didn't see his name on the list. That's bad business and that is snake like behaviour. The least they could have done was to tell him that he will not be retained by the Tallawahs. I don't think anyone can disagree that that is the minimum to have been expected it you are getting rid of a player.
