Is anyone else following the Cricinfo votes for best T20 player. I cannot even believe that anyone in their right mind would vote for Raina over Russell but Rain is presently up 57-43. At this rate Raina will be voted the best T20 ever lol. Come on guys go vote for Dre Russ.

Mad dem Raina! Who would vote for a Yardie gangsta who feigns injuries and evades drug testing.

The results of a poll will do what...
Prove to the Indians that voted, that Raina is better?

Resist the temptation for validation mi yute big grin

Votes are just for fun. Only stats can validate and even then figures without proper analysis does not tell the true story. A number 11 batsman cud end up with a higher average than an opening batsman because the number 11 remains not out almost all the time while the recognised batsman shields him and goes for runs. Just saying for the fun of it vote for Dre Russ. Not about validation bro.

Gayle beat Virat in one of the brackets and India cricket twitter lost their minds. Throwing the Fs out and calling ESPN cheaters and stuff.

Over an online poll. lol

Perhaps the Raina thing is retribution?

Edited to add: *The poll, which was originally slated to end at 6.30am GMT on May 1, has been reopened. A technical glitch resulted in additional votes being registered in the system after the original cut-off.

So India twitter made ESPN antsy in the end rolleyes lol

Hopefully not any suicides and wife burnings over this seemingly harmless poll
Just goes to show how many Indians dislike Koli for the poll to be this close

Nyet lol

However, while Kohli’s fans had initially got their way, the move backfired with Gayle hoovering up an eventual 75.65 per cent of the 2,140,551 votes cast and progressing emphatically to the next round.

big grin
