Dat letter was written by Chunnie AKA Jumpstart.

During the chair crisis and the last WIPA/WICB court matter, Chunnie was desperately attempting to find out...who is this Courtesy.

I actually supported Chunnie in that particular struggle. The feeling then was, that the West Indies players would lose their negotiating strength if they continued the tour and Dave Cameron would have won a pyrrhic victory.

There were several behind the scenes cricket personalities serving in advisory capacities to the players on that beleaguered Indian tour.

In the interest of disclosure...Chunnie and Ernest were the best of friends before Ernest became CEO of WICB.

Rams did a lot to advance players' rights and ought to be commended. he let his ego get in the way and did not stress professionalism enough to the players. the duty of a union or an employee rep is as much about pay and conditions as is about players giving of their best. WI players during that period werent fit enough, didnt care enough and therefore werent good enough to compete at the internationally consistently.

in addition Rams hated certain administrators and certain players

Some of us here were smart enough to see that Wincric AKA Chunnie AKA Jumpstart never looked at the total picture of West Indies cricket but was self consumed with absolute power.

He was given a seat at the WICB table only to refuse it just to resume his combative posture. The defeat of the archaic MOU/CBA eventually led to his demise...but somewhere in the hills of TNT he is orchestrating a return to relevance.

The binoculars are lasser focused and locked on him. He has been thwarted in all his attempts thus far. "We have scorched the snake not killed it..."

Jumpstart reflects his mindset of eventually returning to what he considers as glory days for him...but Azim understands the game plan.

Walco should have some thoughts about that

Most of that stuff is a blur for me now, but IIRC WIPA was arguing that the MOU/CBA, which had a fixed term, should remain in effect after the stated expiration date smile
