The Sport most easy to restart

There have been much contemplating about restarting Sporting events, but many sports are played with the players having to be in close proximity of each other. However, it seems of all the Sports, tennis could be the Sport that could be restarted, players could easily avoided being close to each other and spectators could be spread at the matches,

MMA is the easiest to restart. This sport makes most of its money off pay per view and you don't need a crowd viewing it.

South Korean baseball restarted today - was on ESPN!

1.00am this morning

ESPN will televise South Korea's Korea Baseball Organization games during the upcoming 2020 season, starting with the league's opening day on Tuesday.

ESPN will become the KBO's exclusive English-language home as part of an agreement with Eclat Media Group announced Monday, and it will televise six regular-season games per week.

"We're thrilled to become the exclusive English-language home to the KBO League and to showcase its compelling action and high-level of competition," said Burke Magnus, ESPN's executive vice president of programming. "We have a long-standing history of documenting the game of baseball and we're excited to deliver these live events to sports fans."

They still have to sort out what method the bowlers are going to use to shine the ball and the w/keepers are at times close to the batsmen. However the sports that are played with a bat should be able to start up soon. American football, basketball and European football might have to wait on a medical intervention

Tennis

Change of balls will need to be much more often. Ball goes out of play....ball boy/girl uses gloves to retrieve the ball?

Golf

Probably the easiest of them all. Caddy would have to use gloves to handle the balls. Perhaps the golfer too.

Cricket

Tough. No relaying of the ball back to the bowler where goes to wicketkeeper, then playfully to slips, then gully, then cover, then midofff and finally to bowler. All of the interaction would have to be limited.

Probably result in a much more regular change of ball which will favour bowlers

Run outs not involving the keeper could be challenging.

Technically a ball delivered by the bowler, hit y the batsman, fielded by the fielder....could potentially have some exposure. How to deal with that?

Water cart will need different protocols.

No breaking of world records allowed to prevent pitch invasions cool

Baseball - the only thing the catcher wouldn’t be able block the plate!

Plays (Eg double plays) at 2nd base would be problematic.

Outfield collisions

Tossing the ball back to the pitcher would be a problem.

Same issue with fielding as in cricket

No trodding the ball to fans

How to handle foul balls? What if pitcher is inferred, virus is on the ball, ball gets fouled into the stands and spectators pick it up.
