Nothing is surprising anymore...
The justice department has to change its name it is not about justice anymore, if it ever was---- I am not sure what it should be called going forward, but justice is now definitely a misnomer

Trump administration also asked SC to stop release of Mueller material!
Just learn that very few in the west wing of the white house wears mask --- guess thats a positive thing

just hope the court let may,11 come and go without budging.
This is the reason why Mitch McConnel has been on the mission of stacking the Courts with what they say are CONservative Judges, the strategy looks to be working.
I thought theses things happenned only in backward third world banana republics??
Murca!!

True, but with nothing else to hold on to, I have to lean on this Martin Luther King saying - The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice. --- otherwise, hopelessness and helplessness creeps in, followed by depression - these are such troubling times

I was wondering why Barr was so quiet.

Former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe has released a blistering statement after DOJ dropped charges against Michael Flynn:
"Todays move by the Justice Department has nothing to do with the facts or the law it is pure politics designed to please the president."
This administration is something else. The new prosecutor that Barr appointed to free him recommended the same and Barr agreed. He is the only one that signed it while the Mueller prosecutor removed himself from the proceedings. Like he did in 78 Barr is going seal up everything in this case for 5 years.
He should go after Mueller next which would serve him right.

The DOJ kicked away its own foot by releasing materials related to the case last week. These materials were not really substantial in proving anything. Meanwhile they in court trying to prevent the release of grand jury materials that will provide the substance of Flynns lies and Russian contacts.

Mueller thought he was dealing with honorable people. Barr went after him early and he never recovered. He went to congress and when you thought he would bust the thing wide open when he saw the direction it was going in, he pretended/or maybe he was going senile.

The Judge still has the last say
The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court to block Congress from seeing grand jury secrets gathered by the special counsel, Robert Mueller, saying the executive branch would suffer irreparable harm if lawmakers see the evidence.
Hmmm Irreparable harm huh
