I maintain that Michael Osterholm, thus far, has the most practical and honest outlook on the entire situation in my opinion...void if any political biases... he was the first to say that it was in fact airborne and that any proposals about getting an effective vaccine before 18 months was likely "happy talk". His "data" had the number of deaths in the US at 480k but said that number could come down based on the response to social distancing guidelines.. Lastly he said that this should not be viewed as a blizzard but more like the first weeks in a long long winter...
