PPP rigged the recount

WI_cricfan 2020-05-11 13:41:37

In what marks a major shift of its position on the March 2nd general elections, the APNU+AFC coalition yesterday alleged that “clear and unmistakable patterns of irregularities, discrepancies and worse have emerged” following day five of the national recount of votes.

GUYANA’S General and Regional Elections were free, fair and a major success, Chairman of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM), Justice (Ret’d) Claudette Singh declared on Tuesday, even as she called on Guyanese to demonstrate patience as the Elections Secretariat tabulates the votes for a preliminary or final declaration of the results.
“GECOM has delivered free, fair and credible elections,” Justice Singh said.

Free and Fair

International Observers, in particular the Organisation of American States (OAS), the European Union (EU), the Carter Center and the Commonwealth, in their engagements with the press on E-Day, lauded the Elections Commission for conducting an almost seamless election.

Why are people surprised by all of this. Imagine a president was declared and ready to be sworn in based on these same results ....

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell commissioned Al Riveron, Head of Operations NFL Officiating, to have a look at the replay.

Upon further review, several penalties are now called. The PPP Jags are flagged for too many men on the field at the snap of the ball. Also illegal contact, offsides, illegal man downfield and playing with a foreign substance on the ball.

This is the most penalties ever called on a single play, and is under further review.

Weak and flawed cheat strategy by APNU now. International observers already declared that the voting was conducted fairly.

APNU folding, after a lot of in-fighting. Plenty of people will be out of the APNU soon enough.

I am surprised that not many have come forth to condemn, so far only about 2, it is as if the others feel that by remaining quiet the “cheaters” may find a way to be successful so let me wait and see my job may still be there. Unethical and a lack of integrity and morals? You bet your bottom dollar a large amount are such, it is a sad and disgusting fact, even overseas based have been advising and carrying water for the behavior and skullduggery.

Let the people decide, it is a democracy, that is the choice you have to go by.

In reply to Norm In summary:Elections flawed but results credible.

The coalition A Partnership for National Unity/Alliance for Change (APNU/AFC) is now questioning the credibility of the March 2 polls by pointing to discrepancies such as ‘dead’ and ‘migrated voters’ even after the party’s Presidential Candidate and supporters had already declared the elections credible and that David Granger should be sworn in.

In fact, APNU/AFC’s position now is to question the credibility of the Election Day process, even as the party maintains that the results are credible.

The conflicting positions came on Monday, as day six of the National Recount continued at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC) venue, when APNU/AFC floor supervisor for the recount, Leonard Craig, in speaking to media operatives said the coalition agents had made note of a number of the anomalies during the voting process on Election Day.

He was at the time responding to concerns raised by People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) GECOM Commissioner, Sase Gunraj, who on Monday lamented that the party’s agents had been fabricating allegations to attack the credibility of the voting process without substantiating some of the claims that were raised.

It should be noted that prior to this recount, the party—including President David Granger—had dubbed the elections free and fair.

results credible.

Sure. A set of thieves win, either way. We did not need elections to tell us that.

Democracy, however, would salvage hope for the future.

Bro these people just dont care, they have the impression that they are the "POWA", they can jook you in your eye and get away with it

How else can you explain the not so thinly veiled threat of the foreign affairs minister to Caricom, Common-Wealth and ABCE reps??

Can you imagine a barely credible official of a tiny, dependent guyana imposing their authority on freaking world powers?? Jeezas Christ, I could scarcely believe my eyes.

Something tells me that this much advocated recount is not going certain people's way at this point.

I would, however, advise them to hold strong. It's early yet in the proceedings and things might eventually align with your expectation(s) and or wish(es).

Whose way? What way?

Did you see me protest in any way when the PNC won legitimately in 2015??

Are you following whats happening or just stirring the sh!t...

The recount is showing that Mingo's barefacedly rigged the count in favor of the PNC

Now the PNC is saying that PPP voted with dead people, which would mean PPP paid off all GECOM officials, all PNC reps at the various polling stations, and all observers to get away with this...because they have about a 17,000 win
