From Barry Wilkinson
"Well well well...a 30-man squad has been shortlisted and will be cut, to tour England as some major players are refusing to go (if the tour goes ahead).
Sit back, the drama unfolds.
Decision day is coming!"

Southampton and some other venue, and no spectators allowed.
The locations allows for aiming for near complete isolation of players and staff.
England players resume training in pairs.
Senior players cannot refuse to go and drama unfolds if last week the Board said it was optional.
Barry have lockdown fever
In reply to Halliwell I thought that the breaking story was that CWI drops Kraigg Brathwaite from the contract list.....
plans were well underway despite Skerritt giving the impression that they well take a wait and see approach!
I would love to hear what the Medical team that advises CWI have to say on this matter.I am keeping my powder dry.
CWI broke.. they need the money
They don't give a damn about the players safety.
i understand the cappo is not on board with the decision and the Tit man could be cappo

I say bring back Marlon, he is a strong spokesperson
In reply to Halliwell
That wouldnt work cuz the Icon not gonna be going if there is no crowd there to cheer for him and shout his name from the stands

Some are broke already and others will soon be if cricket in some fashion is not played, seeing it is
all TV driven by way of funding.
Tough call, but I think Cricket will be played. It's up to players to decide on the risks involved.
Not only Boards, but the players are or will be hurting for paychecks.
Were I a player, I would make the tour.Cricket can be played without crowds and in a pretty safe environment. The
venues being suggested are self containing with hotels/accomodation for all concerned .
Strange but if this is to be new normal for a while, why not ?
I am selfish enough to want to see some cricket as I will have all the time seeing I aint doing
gardening this year.
