Handgun or shotgun for home protection?

Which do you prefer and if you currently have for home protection, which ones do you have?

I am considering buying one very soon.

Take a course on firearms before purchasing one.

A handgun would be a smart move.

BTW, before you do that I would like to know the current state of your home environment.

Such purchases could come into consideration later on. Inquiring minds.............

Kids in college and youngest one is 8. They are all good kids. I have to bolster my armaments. 2 cutlass under the bed can't cut it anymore.

Neighborhood is fine. No crime hardly ever. It's just an epiphany I had.

Happy to know the above. The real reason I was "inquiring" is that when a guy suddenly decides he wants to buy a gun, one has to wonder if the home relationship is on solid ground.

"Neighborhood is fine. No crime hardly ever"
. It's a pity with two basic areas covered you still find the need for a gun.

Let's hope you are not "Covid-19 paranoid"
