No cricket, but there is a Big Cricket Feud heating up.

Shane Warne is at it again with Steve Waugh.
Spin King Shane Warne has once again taken a swipe at his former cricket captain Steve Waugh, labelling him 'the most selfish cricketer' he ever played with.
The sledge was prompted by a new statistic that found the Australian batting legend has been involved in more runouts than any other player in the history of the game.
Waugh was caught up in 104 runouts in 168 Tests and 325 One Day internationals.

Shane Warne is just an arrogant jackass who is trying to remain relevant by being controversial. He is still vexed that Steve Waugh dropped him when he was not performing. Steve Waugh may not have shown good judgement with the taking of runs but in a run out situation it could go any way. It is just like batsmen who are compulsive hookers and get out 50% of the time. Are they selfish?
And then look at the list at the top players who were involved in run outs. Are they all also selfish?
Rounding out the rest of the not-so-prestigious list was India's Rahul Dravid with 101, Sachin Tendulkar with 98, Sri Lanka's Mahela Jayawardene with 95 and Pakistan's Inzamam-ul-Haq with 92.
All top flight players.

That is a poor analogy.

S. Warne is trying his best to stay relevant.
If Waugh was a wicked man he would send Warne's address to Marlon Samuels.

Warne have enough gigs going on
He doesnt need this for relevance
He merely made the reasonable conclusion from compelling data!

Always thought Warne would have made a good skipper but there is a definite bias in favor of batsmen. Waugh was indeed a good skipper.

Are you referring to the same compelling data that justified him being dropped for Antigua test after a piss poor series in the West Indies?

Could it be, bcs U R batting longer, U can be involved in more runouts?
Some may say, in those runouts, he sold his partners down the line. But, if he did, didn't he make up the runs to justify his calling and running?

So is Waugh. But steve was right in 99. Which is the genesis of their fall out. He was getting battered by lara while recovering from an injury. Macgill was more penetrative than him. Not saying macgill wasnt a great leggie but you bow what i mean. And waugh made the responsible decision to drop him. Who knows if he had played the test and ODIs he may have damaged himself and missed the world cup in which he performed so well.
On a personal note, anybody who could attempt to destroy their marraige do many times and finally succeed, despite having four young childred, has to be a selfish mamn. And we know warne did that numerous times. I like some of his views but he's another manchild

Warne for all his flaws is the greatest right arm leg spinner in history. However my favorite is Abdul Qadir.
