Just started watching Episode 3, Chicago Bulls management and the CWI, should be a learning exercise.
A team winning five championship, and you tell the winning coach, it is his final season, knowing full well, that his franchise player, would leave..
Both these organization went from top to the bottom.

Watching, excellent series. Only makes you admire Jordan more, if that was possible.

My ESPN feed in the region didnt carry the live broadcast so I have to chill until Netflix uploads the final three...
hopefully soon.
Its a really instructive video that helps to explain how high performing individuals think and move....

that is really you. we agree for once except for the last part. Cos Guyson showed she was v liberal with the dishonesty
So.....MJ was a bit of a dick to his teammates
Same was said of Kobe
IVA
Lara
Etc
All part of the greatness DNA it appears
Perhaps more the rule than the exception

He was tough on teammates...but unlike Kobe who was known to not socialize with teammates, Jordan was very involved...he just pushed them on the practice court and dressed down guys who put partying before basketball.
And unlike Lebron he did not throw players under the bus...He had to trust you before relying on you in clutch situations. Unlike Lebron who gave it to whomever as long as it was not himself.
Thing about Michael is, i was never disappointed. From the day i heard about him to the day i actually sa him play, whatever expectations i created in my mind for him he met and exceeded.
Way more titles than i envisioned. Always played to the best of his ability and always did something on the court that made me leap out my seat.
And a very genuine guy wh knew what he wanted and went and got it.
Favorite quote from Jordan....
"Why would i be nervous about missing a shot i have not taken?"
That sums up the man's attitude to his craft. What made him a great competitor and a joy to watch.

that pretty much says it.
You will find those traits repeating themselves in many others...
MJ loved Gambling...
Other men had other vices....like women on top of women etc etc...
always a chink in the armor

Our flaws are always magnified on the big stage.
Vince Young never reached the heights of Jordan and he was an absolute a-hole.
Remember many of these athletes are spoiled to an unbelievable level from HS.

We prefer humble.....a humble calm no drama cricketer.
How often have we heard the 'humble' refrain on this board?
15 yrs of eating humble pie....
Last Dance is well done, and confirms the greatness of Michael. He was in sync with his greatness, physically, mentally and egotistically.
