there is a major difference!!
he didn't have any privileges or received any preferencial treatment whatsoever - no white privilege - no USA privilege...he was tested fairly often before and after all major meets...I am sure that they have viles of his blood in storage which will likely be subjected to future screening tests...
the man you are referring to comes from a country with an extremely rich track & field history as you very well know. Therefore the probability of the fastest man on the planet and in recorded history coming from that country is extremely high given the island's history (it's not like van Niekerk setting that blazing 400m record - not that I am insinuating that it was not legal). Three of the his team mates on that 4 x 100m team have ran some of the fastest times in history!!
also the man you are referring to was fast from the time he was a kid though lots of refinement was required to optimize his natural talent to what it was when he set those recored...

Yes Jamaica has a rich history in track, i am well aware.
What i described is unreal, to me. I know of only one guy wo ever ran faster and he had a hurricane behind him. All men who ran as fast or faster than a drugged up Ben Johnson rested positive. A drugged up Tyson Gay broke his freekin hip to match that 9.69. He never recovered.
