She looks stronger with each passing day as expectations for an African American woman on the ticket grow. She’s been vetted nationally, can stay on message, can slice and dice Republicans, is close to the Bidens, and would be a credible president should it be necessary for her to step up. The question has changed from “Could it be Harris?” to “Is there any reason it shouldn’t be Harris?”

Casper spoke about Abrams as if she was the the chosen one. I still think Klobuchar has a good chance because the DNC pretty much forced her out of the race in exchange for something.

Val Demings and Warren for me are the only serious candidates there.
There will be a lot of work to be done to correct the ills of the past 4 years and Klobuchar, Harris, Abrams will be distractions from work.

Look, Val Demmings has a bright political future, possibly rising to Speaker of the House or even a Senator from Florida but not VP as yet.
Love Demmings for the future but these will be trying years and experience will be needed to navigate.
Biden also will need a very strong VP.

I’m a big fan of Val Demmings to but I’m afraid she doesn’t have enough national appeal and with both campaigns forced to run an unconventional campaign you need a VP who doesn’t have to be introduced to the public but can hit the ground running. That’s why I would love to see Warren as a VP. No one matches her intellect, her ability to come up with plans and ideas to change the lives of ordinary Americans. There is a lot of work to be done after Trump. Warren is suited for the heavy lifting.

The only two people on that list with the chutzpah and gravamen that is required are Elizabeth and Kamala, and I am not quite sure about Kamala.

Kamala can squeeze out another 20,000 votes in Philly,15,000 votes in Milwaukee and 25,000 votes in Detroit with command performances on the campaign trail eviscerating Trump and Barr and dissecting Pence in the VP debate.
She can work with Stacey(the incoming AG) to revamp the Justice Department and improve the Criminal Justice System and help Joe Biden restructure the economy to be more fair to women and minorities.
