I like Steam Whistle Pilsener and Lager, and Beau's Lug Thread, Canadian stuff...

Drank some Erdinger Weissbier and Dunkel recently, very palette friendly German wheat beers, smooth...

Also had some Fullers IPA, refreshing, highly recommended

Fullers Porter is a Guiness competitor, actually better than Guiness IMO

The thing is, even though they are very good beers, they are also local and not many people outside of your area knows about them.

The Austin area is loaded with craft beers.

In the Northeast, (US) there are smaller craft breweries.

All you Guinness men, nuff respect, local options are worth assessing

Please check the ingredients of the beer you consume

Some have fructose and other crappy ingredients

The big name companies, Bud, Miller, etc, brew beers for quick consumption, thus the fructose to aid the taste.

With the way Caribbean peeps enjoy a cold one, quality of ingredients is obviously important

I wonder how the local Caribbean beers compare. Do they list the ingredients?

In Trinidad, there's a bar downtown that sells predominantly a German brew, forgot the name

Dont want to sound cliche but they taste far more refined. Fullers is based in england and they view themselves as "craft". Same thing with Erindger.

If you get a chance, try ERDINGER Weissbier, I guarantee its a good drink.

There is a company in GY importing these brews, very expensive but you get like twice the amount of beer in the bottle compared to the local stuff.
