Rain, rain, go away
Lovely Rain
Who doesn't enjoy the sound of rain on a metal roof?
I just love rain, period.
I remember as a kid, I used to run naked in the rain. Those were the good ole childhood days.

I also remember being in the bed, wrapped up in a blanket on a rainy day. Those were the days.

I can be unhappy with the rain if I'm not dressed appropriately but most of the time I love it.

What about rafting on styrotex in the big drains with heavy rains? We did alot of that, closest thing to whitewater rafting you can get !!
We would start on one street and end up on another passing below in many cases..and we talking big stone and concrete drains washed clean by the deluge...and some of them had spring water flowing into them so they were crystal clear most times, with all manner of creatures in them, pretty fish, crayfish turtles eels etc,we knew them well..
We call that good boy days..
I cringe now when I think of the possible perils including protruding steel etc..
And yeah nothing beats tropical rain on metal roof sheets..I won't have it any other way..though modern coated this time around the rythm is the same..
I have played football in some wet soggy conditions. De rain falling yuh running and sliding bout de place...nuff fun

We used to make paper boats and sail them down stream.
Nothing like standing under a gutter in the middle of the rain.

There's a tall grass in Guyana (BZ BZ grass) that we also use to make boats.
